The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Friday, March 1 – Steffy Learns Sheila Unarmed – Deacon Reacts to Finn’s Grim News

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, March 1, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) noticed Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) was quiet as everyone continued to process the news of Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) demise.

Hope suggested she was struggling to wrap her head around the fact that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) killed her husband’s birth mother and knew John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) would have a hard time reconciling that.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) insisted that Steffy took Sheila out in self-defense and hoped that maybe Finn had accepted the circumstances by now.

Ridge felt like Steffy needed her husband’s support and ultimately decided to go back over to Steffy’s place in case Finn wasn’t stepping up.

Since Ridge didn’t want it to look like Steffy did anything wrong, he turned down Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) offer to go with him and handle the cops.

At the cliff house, Finn reflected on losing sleep as a kid while thinking about his birth mother. It meant so much for Finn to meet the woman who gave him life.

Even after Finn found out who Sheila really was, he was still broken up over never seeing her again because his own wife killed her in their home.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) defended herself once more, but Finn heard the sirens coming and took off since he couldn’t deal with the police right now.

Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) arrived to question Steffy about exactly what went down, so she talked about hearing a banging noise before the power went out.

After Steffy saw a shadow and realized Sheila was there, she said Sheila came closer and reached for something in her pocket like she was going to shoot her.

Deputy Chief Baker insisted there was no gun or weapon found on Sheila.

Even so, Steffy said it looked like Sheila was about to shoot her – and since Sheila had done it before, Steffy thought she could do it again.

Steffy talked about grabbing the knife and stabbing Sheila after she lunged at her.

Baker said Steffy was admitting that she stabbed Sheila, so Steffy confirmed that she was and declared it was in self-defense.

Once Baker started asking questions about Sheila lunging without a weapon in her hand, Ridge arrived to shut down the interrogation.

Baker decided he was done for now, but he suggested he’d have more questions later.

Ridge warned that Steffy wouldn’t be answering them without an attorney and then Baker exited.

When Ridge asked where Finn was, Steffy replied that she didn’t know since he left.

Ridge felt that Steffy’s husband should be there for her right now, so he embraced Steffy and wondered “where the hell” Finn was.

Back at Forrester Creations on Friday’s B&B episode, Hope realized Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was going to be devastated and thought she should be the one to break the news about Sheila.

At Il Giardino, Deacon saw Finn rush by looking distraught, so he followed him out of the restaurant.

Finn ended up at Sheila’s apartment, where he gazed at a framed photo of her and got emotional over her sweater.

Deacon found Finn and had all kinds of questions about what happened.

Finn said the cops were at his house and that Sheila wasn’t coming back, so Deacon asked if Steffy had her arrested.

Once Finn said that wasn’t the case, he explained how Sheila broke into the cliff house and threatened Steffy, who stabbed her in self-defense.

Finn hated to be the one to tell Deacon this, but he confessed that Sheila was dead.

Deacon had an expression that was a mixture of confusion, sorrow and anger.

After Deacon said aloud that Steffy killed Sheila, Finn reiterated that it was in self-defense.

Finn assured Deacon that he was sorry about Sheila being gone, but Deacon just bolted out the door.

Once Hope walked in looking for her dad, Finn admitted he already gave Deacon updates on Sheila’s grim fate.

Finn worried that maybe he shouldn’t have told Deacon, who seemed shaken up.

After Finn said he shouldn’t be this upset after all the stunts Sheila pulled, he added that he should hate her.

“Why don’t I hate her?” Finn asked as his emotions came pouring out.

Ridge felt that Finn should think Sheila was an animal who got what she deserved, but Sheila was still Finn’s mom.

Finn said he wouldn’t get to see Sheila ever again, so Hope rushed to his side and repeatedly told him that she was sorry.

Hope pulled Finn into a hug as she did her best to comfort her.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn’s mind is a messy place right now, so he’ll have a lot to work through in the coming episodes!
