The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Is Finn’s Grief Out of Character – Creepy Sheila Reaction Over the Top?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) had a strong reaction to Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) grisly outcome – especially since Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is the one who took her out.

Finn objected to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) calling Sheila an animal and feels like human life has been disregarded here.

Despite Steffy’s attempts to explain that she did what she had to do, Finn still blames her on some level for what happened.

B&B’s February 29 episode ended on a creepy note as Finn used his palm to soak up some of Sheila’s spilled blood.

Finn pointed out that his mother’s blood was on his hands – and then he insisted it was on Steffy’s hands, too!

It’s understandable that Finn would have some complicated emotions since the woman who gave birth to him died.

That said, Finn’s behavior still seems rather bizarre considering everything Sheila has put his family through over the last few years.

Sheila pulled the trigger on Finn and Steffy in the alley before leaving them to bleed out, so that alone should’ve been enough to turn Finn against her for good.

It was also believed that Sheila caused Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) demise for a while, so Finn had a much more believable reaction to that news when Sheila was holding him captive.

Let’s look at some dialogue from a scene that aired back in July 2022.

“You wanted to kill Steffy – the mother of my son, the love of my life! You should be dead, not my REAL mother!”

Finn insisted as he backed Sheila up against the door.

“Someone should’ve put a bullet in your head that night, but since they didn’t it’s up to me to take matters into my own hands – to make sure justice is served!” Finn shouted as he wrapped his hands around Sheila’s neck to strangle her.

Flash-forward to now and we’ve got a very different version of Finn on our screens.

It’s true that Sheila had settled down in the months leading up to the stabbing, but it’s still tough to buy the idea that Finn’s THIS torn up over her death.

Finn’s current reaction definitely feels contrived – like it’s only happening to manufacture some issues in his marriage and perhaps set the stage for some couple shakeups.

Do you agree that Finn’s grief and theatrical blood-smearing display went too far? Have the writers changed the core of Finn’s character for the sake of some forced drama?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn may see Sheila in a different light if she’s faking her grim fate with the help of a lookalike, so stay tuned for updates on all the chaos ahead!
