At Forrester Designs, Hope urges Steffy not to let Sheila’s death come between her and Finn. Steffy tells Hope that she’s overstepping. Hope is only trying to help. Steffy knows Finn is tormented by this, and so is she, more than Hope can imagine. Hope says she’s not trying to be insensitive, and everyone knows she acted out of self-defense.

Steffy says she still took a life, and every time she closes her eyes all she sees is her killing Sheila. Hope apologizes and didn’t want to upset her, and she just wanted to let her know Finn is confused and hurting. Steffy states this is a painful situation, but they’ll get through this and be stronger. She won’t let this disrupt her life with Finn.

Luna tries to work in the design office but can’t stop thinking about sleeping with Zende. Poppy finds her daughter and is worried about her. Luna says she loves RJ and he deserves to know the truth. Poppy tells her that she can never tell RJ the truth, but Luna doesn’t think she can keep this secret. Poppy says telling RJ will only hurt him and for what, something she can’t change and something that meant nothing to her. Luna can’t help but want to tell him the truth when she’s with him, but she doesn’t want to undermine RJ and Zende’s relationship.

Poppy insists telling RJ the truth could make things so much worse. Luna admits as much as she wants to tell him the truth, she doesn’t want to ruin his life and family. She doesn’t want to be the reason RJ and Zende can’t work together, and she doesn’t want to disrupt their trying to rebuild their relationship. Luna cries this is hell, and secrets ruin everything. She doesn’t know if anything will be the same again. Poppy knows she will do the right thing, and she is a good person. She says she made a mistake, and she can’t tell RJ and she has to understand that.

In Finn’s office, Liam tells the doctor that Steffy is going to be fine, as he’ll be there for her if she needs someone to count on. Finn reminds him that is his wife he’s talking about, but Liam thinks it’s like he doesn’t realize how lucky he is to have Steffy. Finn knows he’s lucky, and he doesn’t blame Steffy, but his birth mother is dead. Finn tells Liam he is struggling and doesn’t need him putting him on blast for it. Liam advises him not to take his marriage to Steffy for granted like he did. Finn knows he’s waiting in the wings, but what they need is time and privacy to work this out. He vows nothing and no one will come between him and Steffy.

Finn goes to Forrester to see Steffy. He says he had to see her, and he misses her so much. She is glad he’s here, and she knows it’s hard for him to be at the house. Finn wishes he could explain what he’s feeling, but he’s struggling with Sheila’s death. He doesn’t blame her, but it feels like a connection has been cut between him and his birth mother. She knows he’s struggling, but she’s struggling too.

Steffy says that she killed someone, she took someone’s life. She cries, “What have I done? All I see is the paramedics trying to save her. I killed someone and I’m trying to come to terms with that, but I can’t get this memory out of my head, it haunts me.” They embrace, and Finn says they can’t let this tear them apart. Steffy agrees but asks if he’ll ever be able to look at her the same way, and she’s so sorry.

At the beach house, Zenda stops over to talk with RJ in private. Zende wants RJ to know how lucky he is to be dating Luna. RJ knows how amazing his girlfriend is. Zende says she’s smart, beautiful, and ambitious, and they all think she has a future at Forrester. Zende feels RJ is not aware of how special Luna is.

RJ doesn’t seem to understand what Zende is saying or not saying, but he and Luna are happy and he’ll never be with Luna. RJ asks if they are done as he needs to get to the office and work. He doesn’t want to argue with him, but he needs to lay off and respect his relationship with Luna.

RJ arrives at the office with Zende and finds Luna with Poppy. Zende says they just came from RJ’s, and he let him know how lucky he is to have Luna. Luna tells RJ she is grateful for him, they are happy, and she never wants to hurt him or let him down. RJ says she never could, and they kiss and embrace. Luna is clearly conflicted.
