The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Tuesday, March 19 – Hope Cries Over Ruining Everything – Steffy Protects Thomas’ Sanity

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 19, reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) struggled to understand what he did wrong, but Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) insisted this was all Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) doing.

Steffy pointed out that she tried to warn Thomas about Hope’s lack of commitment and said she wasn’t surprised Hope rejected him again.

Although Steffy felt like this was all some game to Hope, Thomas disagreed.

Thomas thought maybe he should’ve given Hope more time like he said he would, but Steffy said waiting around wasn’t going to solve the problem.

Hope was stringing Thomas along as far as Steffy was concerned, so she pushed him to think about his own sanity.

Steffy also urged Thomas to consider what he would tell Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) if he was involved with a girl who was treating him this way.

After Steffy told Thomas to think about his pride and dignity, she insisted Thomas was in a toxic relationship and offered a prediction about the bad news this could lead to.

Steffy worried about that toxicity resurrecting Thomas’ demons, so she said Hope wasn’t worth it and encouraged him to be happy with any other woman in the world.

As Steffy hugged Thomas, she glared at Hope’s framed photo over his shoulder.

In the salon, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) found Hope looking emotional, so she got her daughter to open up about the second marriage proposal that ended in rejection.

Hope explained that Thomas ran off and couldn’t even look at her because he was in so much pain.

Although Hope thought Thomas understood that she wasn’t in any hurry to marry, something clearly changed on his end.

Brooke got why Hope would feel the way she felt and said there was no reason to rush into a marriage, especially considering how her marriage to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) ended.

Hope was still upset over hurting Thomas, so she said she felt like she just ruined everything.

Brooke said Hope had to look out for herself, but Hope cried over how grateful she was for Thomas and assured her mom that she loved him.

At Il Giardino, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) bumped into Liam, who invited Carter to join him for lunch.

Liam talked about Steffy being traumatized over the whole Sheila situation, but he added that her focus was on Thomas right now.

After Liam practically scoffed over Steffy thinking Hope would break Thomas’ “fragile little heart,” he admitted he was more concerned about how Thomas would react if that happened.

Steffy didn’t think Hope was really in love with Thomas – and Liam was inclined to agree with that part.

Carter seemed more willing to accept Thomas and Hope’s relationship as legit, but Liam just wasn’t buying it as some grand love story.

In the design office at Forrester Creations, Brooke found Thomas sulking and admitted she knew he proposed again.

Thomas didn’t want to talk about it, but Brooke assured Thomas that she wasn’t there to make him feel worse.

Brooke could see how heartbroken Thomas was, but she pointed out that Hope was heartbroken, too.

Hope didn’t mean to hurt Thomas or reject him, but he obviously still felt rejected since she turned down his ring.

Since Hope had been wearing that ring on her neck and had grown closer to him, Thomas really thought she’d say yes.

That’s particularly true since Hope said she never wanted what they found in Rome to end.

Thomas wondered if he’d been a fool and asked Brooke to tell him the truth.

“Does Hope really love me?” Thomas asked on Tuesday’s B&B episode.

Meanwhile, Steffy slammed back in the CEO office and confronted Hope over Thomas’ heartbreak.

Hope said she just wasn’t ready for that level of commitment, but Steffy fired back that she knew that. Thomas was the one who couldn’t grasp it.

Steffy warned Hope to stop this game, but Hope defended her love for Thomas and felt she could always count on him.

However, Steffy acted like that wasn’t the case anymore since she thought she got through to Thomas.

Hope looked upset as she wondered what Steffy had done, but Steffy said Hope was just toying with Thomas’ emotions.

Steffy told Thomas to stand up for himself, so she was convinced that he was going to end his relationship with Hope once and for all.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope and Steffy’s showdown will come with some exciting moments, so stick with us for updates on all the drama.
