The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Friday, April 5 – Body Has 10 Toes, Fake Sheila’s Cremation Ends with a Twist

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, April 5, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) continued discussing Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) presence at the memorial to support Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).

Now that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was in Paris, Steffy hoped her brother could move on with his life.

Liam hoped the same thing for Hope, so Steffy suggested maybe she could find someone to really commit herself to this time.

At Il Giardino, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) admitted to Hope that it felt good to say goodbye to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and get closure.

Although the world hated Sheila, Finn confessed that part of him was still sad about the demise of his birth mother.

Hope was supportive on Friday’s B&B episode, so Finn asked how she was coping with Thomas and Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) departure.

Hope confessed that it had been difficult, but she was staying busy with work and overanalyzing everything.

After Finn suggested Hope would look back one day and be thankful things worked out this way, she questioned where she went from here.

Hope asked for Finn’s opinion, so he thought she should reflect on what happened with Thomas and why.

Finn felt a lot of what went down with Thomas was a reaction to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and that Hope was lashing out whether she realized it or not.

Hope said there might be a small grain of truth to that.

Finn understood why Hope would be drawn to Thomas’ devotion, but he thought there was too much negative history to have real trust between them.

After Finn said he thought Hope should smooth things over with Liam, she seemed surprised over him suggesting she should go back to her ex-husband.

Finn feared he had overstepped, but Hope pointed out that she asked for his opinion and got it.

Once Finn insisted Hope had to decide for herself what was in her heart and what she wanted, she said she’d concentrate on her career and children.

If Hope needed a little more time to figure herself out, then so be it.

Hope thanked Finn for being a friend, so they ended the conversation on a sweet note.

At the Forrester mansion, Eric Forrester (John McCook) toasted with Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and admitted it was a bit odd to celebrate the demise of his former flame.

Although Eric’s feelings were complex, Lauren’s feelings certainly weren’t since she felt utter relief and pure bliss now that Sheila was gone.

Later, Lauren headed to Forrester Creations and checked on Steffy after her whole ordeal with Sheila.

Steffy reflected on fighting for her life that night, so Lauren said Steffy shouldn’t feel guilty and that she did them all a favor.

At the crematorium, Carl Ferret (Sean Whalen) got Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) to confirm Sheila’s name and sign the paperwork.

Deacon didn’t want Sheila to be alone, so he asked if he could witness the cremation.

Carl confirmed that Deacon could and allowed him to put some flowers around Sheila’s body, which was covered by a sheet in a box.

After Deacon flashed back to some happy memories, he said he’d never forget Sheila or what they shared.

Deacon kept thinking Sheila would wake up and call him Daddy, so he cried about how much he missed her.

However, Deacon insisted Sheila was going to be OK since he was there to help her go.

After Deacon pulled back the sheet and took one last look at Sheila’s face, he assured her that she was loved.

Carl asked if Deacon would like to start the cremation process, so he pressed a button that sent Sheila’s box toward the incinerator.

When the sheet got caught, the corpse’s feet were exposed. Deacon saw that there were 10 toes and frantically tried to stop the cremation, but it was too late as the door snapped shut.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Deacon will mull over this shocking news that Sheila is alive and give Finn updates soon, so we’ll bring you more predictions on the next phase of the story.
