The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, April 8, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may get a little nervous when Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) seeks her out for a conversation. However, it turns out Baker will take one thing off Steffy’s list of concerns.

Although Steffy knows she acted in self-defense, the Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) investigation has still been hanging over her.

There’s perhaps been a nagging worry in the back of Steffy’s mind about the possibility of being arrested.

Thankfully, it looks like the arrest threat will be over.

Deputy Chief Baker will have some positive updates to pass along in Monday’s B&B episode, so he may admit they’ve closed the investigation and determined Steffy is officially off the hook.

Meanwhile, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will open up to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) a bit more about the loss of Sheila and the complicated way it’s affecting him.

Hope will share more about her personal struggles too as she connects with Finn on a deeper level.

Finn and Hope’s friendship will strengthen, so our predictions suggest this could spell trouble if any romantic feelings bubble up down the road.

Next, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) will realize the evidence of Sheila’s survival has gone up in flames.

It’ll leave Deacon frustrated since he’ll have no way to prove he saw 10 toes on this obvious Sheila imposter’s body.

Deacon will face a flood of emotions and lash out in the crematorium, but Carl Ferret (Sean Whalen) may push him to calm down and consider that his grief is causing him to imagine things.

However, Deacon won’t be able to shake what he saw and will start forming a theory about how Sheila might be alive.

We could see Deacon wonder if Sheila faked her demise and has pulled off another one of her schemes.
