Slowly, news is spreading across town that Deacon is losing his marbles. Perhaps, in shock of losing Sheila. So, there is a chance that if he dives too deep in his search from the convict, his well-wishers might decide that he needs help. And have him locked up at the asylum for mental treatment.

Now, here is where the real crazy begins! Imagine Deacon bumping into Sheila at the mental asylum! Yes, yes, we know that sounds absurd. But think about it. If Sugar truly was impersonating Sheila, she may have had to neutralize the real monster-in-law, before making her way to Steffy, hint The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers.

So, Sugar may have whacked Sheila hard on her head to knock her out temporarily. Just to have enough time on her hands to go frame her. But the blow could’ve turned out to be harder than she intender. Thus, rendering Sheila unconscious and without memory. Perhaps even a little loony!
