The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 23, reveals that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) searched online for info on “Sugar” aka Janet Webber (Kimberlin Brown). That eventually led Deacon to an article about Sugar getting released for good behavior a couple months ago.

Deacon realized Sugar could indeed be the one who ended up deceased with 10 toes in the crematorium, so that left him wondering “where the hell” Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was.

Meanwhile, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) returned to the cliff house after a swim.

Steffy and Finn talked about making the most of this romantic morning since Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) had taken the kids out for some fun.

At one point, Finn offered updates on Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) visit and how upset she was when he told her about Deacon being stuck on Sheila’s survival.

Finn thought grief could mess with your mind and admitted it messed with his own mind there for a bit.

Steffy didn’t think Finn could compare his situation to Deacon’s, so she once again complained about Deacon’s claims about Sheila being alive.

Finn ultimately acknowledged that he felt an illogical connection to Sheila, but he insisted it was nothing compared to the connection he felt to Steffy and the kids.

After Finn told Steffy that they were free and never had to worry about Sheila again, she sighed with relief and hugged him.

In the Forrester Creations design office, Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) showed up to comfort Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and asked where things stood with RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman).

Luna admitted that RJ wished she’d told him sooner and said he couldn’t stop picturing her in Zende Forrester Dominguez’s (Delon de Metz) bed.

Poppy insisted none of this was Luna’s fault and felt the love between RJ and Luna was all that mattered.

Luna knew RJ indeed still loved her, but she worried it’d never be that simple for RJ again.

After Luna said she couldn’t blame RJ if he could never get past what happened, she added that she betrayed him.

Poppy didn’t see it that way at all, so she defended the kind of person Luna was and told her not to lose faith in RJ’s love for her.

In the CEO office on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) found RJ looking pensive and pushed him to share what was wrong.

RJ confessed that Luna was with another guy and then clarified that it was Zende, so Brooke flipped out.

RJ scrambled to explain the whole story of Poppy’s special mints and how Luna thought she was sleeping with him instead of Zende that night.

Once RJ assured Brooke that he believed Luna, Brooke ranted about Zende’s betrayal and wanted to tell Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

RJ was adamant that Ridge couldn’t know since he didn’t want this news leaking and people getting the wrong idea about Luna’s reputation.

After RJ said Luna was torn up and thought she betrayed him, Brooke insisted Luna wasn’t to blame for Poppy’s drugs.

Brooke could only imagine what Luna must’ve felt like waking up with Zende after thinking she’d gotten passionate with RJ.

Although RJ didn’t believe Zende took advantage of Luna, he was still furious with him. Brooke was livid too and called this a horrible betrayal on Zende’s part.

Once Brooke said she could see that RJ still loved Luna, he confirmed that he did. RJ knew it was Luna’s fault, but he was clearly still struggling to wrap his head around all this.

Brooke promised not to tell Ridge and said she just wanted to be there for RJ. As Brooke supported her son, she hoped RJ and Luna could get back to where they were before that terrible night.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke will do her best to patch things up between Luna and RJ soon enough, so stick with us for more predictions on their love story.
