The Bold and the Beautiful Tuesday, May 7 Recap: Finn Hopes Steffy Can Embrace Reformed Sheila

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 7, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) kept his arm around Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and told Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) that her survival was a miracle.

Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) admitted it’d mean the world to him if Hope could accept that Sheila had changed and was worthy of love.

Although Hope could see how relieved Finn and Deacon were, she still had concerns about what Sheila was capable of.

Hope assured Deacon and Finn that she was proud of them for rescuing Sheila, but she remained uncertain about Sheila’s transformation.

Finn insisted Sheila risked her life to save Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and the kids, so Deacon backed him up.

Sheila said Hope didn’t have to believe she was a changed woman yet, but she felt confident that Hope would believe it one day.

After Sheila asked Deacon to get some fresh air with her, they shared some sweet moments outside.

Deacon was sorry for taking so long to solve the mystery and find Sheila, but she was grateful and felt he had nothing to apologize for.

Once Deacon called Sheila his “wild little hurricane,” he said he wanted to keep cleaning up her messes for the rest of his life.

Deacon eventually dropped to one knee and asked Sheila to marry him since he didn’t care what anyone else thought.

Back with Hope, she acknowledged that Sheila’s return complicated things, but she was happy for Finn and wouldn’t judge him.

Hope knew that wouldn’t be the case for everyone, so she offered a safe space for Finn to share feelings if he ever needed to talk.

Finn was glad to no longer have the pit in his stomach – the one he felt when he thought Sheila was gone forever. Now that Finn had another opportunity with Sheila, he didn’t want to lose it again.

Finn wanted Sheila in his life, so Hope that Steffy would see Finn’s side of things for his sake.

Although Finn knew it’d take time, he thought that maybe Steffy could eventually see Sheila’s reformation and all the positive updates she’d made.

At the very least, Finn felt Steffy would be relieved that she didn’t cause his birth mother’s grim fate.

After Finn said life was too short, he reiterated that he didn’t want to waste this opportunity with Sheila.

Finn thanked Hope for listening and understanding since he needed that more than ever.

Hope hugged Finn and rubbed his back a bit while they both looked pensive.

At Forrester Creations on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) showed up late for a meeting with Steffy and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), which involved a new deal that Carter needed to finalize.

Liam quizzed Steffy about whether Finn had called Steffy back, so she vented about Deacon’s nonsense and was counting on Hope to shut him down.

Carter argued that if Hope couldn’t get through to Deacon, then they’d find someone else who could do it instead.

After Carter left, Steffy told Liam that she just wanted to forget about Sheila and move on since she was deceased.

Liam assured Steffy that Sheila was gone for good, so Steffy talked about finally being able to breathe again for the first time since her wedding to Finn.

Steffy said she didn’t have to look over her shoulder or hire guards anymore since she was finally free of Sheila.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn’s upcoming news will change everything for Steffy, so we’ll bring you predictions on all the marriage conflict ahead.
