On the May 8 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers tease that Deacon wants to take his relationship with Sheila to the next level. We highly doubt that means taking a trip to Disney World. It may be the answer to Sheila’s prayers as Deacon recommits and asks her to marry him. This should be an episode you don’t want to miss.

On Bended Knee

Before Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) “died,” Deacon (Sean Kanan) was backing off a bit in his commitment to her. With Hope (Annika Noelle) refusing to let Deacon see his grandchildren as long as Sheila was in his life, he put the brakes on their marriage plans.

Now, it’s a whole different story. Deacon deeply mourned Sheila’s loss and rejoiced in finding her alive, so she is now the number one priority. If Sheila wanted him to do anything for her — say, rob a bank or tattoo her face on his arm — now would be the time to ask. Post-resurrection, Sheila can get anything she wants.

In fact, Sheila doesn’t even have to ask. Deacon takes the lead and says he wants to make an honest woman out of her. He will likely wax poetic about how he never wants to live another day without Sheila by his side as his wife, and he wants the whole world to know it. (With dramatic opportunities like these, Sean Kanan won your vote for B&B’s April Performer of the Month on Soap Hub.)

Family Disapproval

Will Sheila grab Deacon by the hand and run down to the courthouse ASAP? How long do we have to prepare for the nuptials of this very unconventional couple?

Judging by Hope’s shock that Sheila is alive, she may not be any more accepting of her now that she is back from the dead. Sheila spoke very nicely to Hope after she fainted. She is making it a little hard for Hope to hate her. How can Hope keep Sheila away from her family when Deacon and Finn are 100 percent on board with giving her a second chance?
