Days of Our Lives Recap: Thursday, February 29 – Clyde’s Delivery – Tripp’s Paris Promise – Video Scares Ava

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 29, reveals that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) was over the moon when Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) showed up in her hospital room for a visit.

Paulina hugged Lani and got a little overexcited, so Abe Carver (James Reynolds) sent Lani, Eli and Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) off for ice chips to give her a break from all the company.

Meanwhile, Chanel gave Eli and Lani updates on Paulina possibly needing a heart transplant.

There was also some talk about Chanel’s hospital wedding to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and how it lifted Paulina’s spirits.

The twins were elsewhere with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), but Eli eventually shared a moment alone with Paulina and showed off some pics on his phone.

As for Lani, she embraced Abe and confessed how worried she was about Paulina, but he assured her that her mom would get through this.

Later, Paulina seemed emotional over having her family all around her and said she treasured these moments.

Chanel and the others insisted Paulina would have a chance to enjoy many more since they didn’t plan on letting her go anytime soon.

Outside the DiMera mansion on Thursday’s Days episode, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) dropped his keys and fumed since he was already in a foul mood.

Clyde Weston (James Read) made matters worse when he called and warned that Stefan needed to finish the job in Harris Michaels’ (Steve Burton) hospital room.

Stefan asked how he was supposed to do that when Harris was under surveillance around the clock, but Clyde insisted a package would arrive soon.

Clyde added that it would contain a vial and a syringe, so Stefan needed to inject the contents of that vial into Harris’ IV bag and set the stage for a fatal heart attack.

Later, Stefan indeed got a package with a vial and syringe inside, so he guessed this is how it would end for Harris.

At home on Thursday’s Days episode, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) was with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) when a disturbing video message came through on her phone.

In that video, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) read the statement Officer Goldman (Christy St. John) gave him as Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) stood nearby.

Tripp told Ava not to talk to law enforcement and do whatever she was told or else she’d never see them again.

Steve looked at the video and decided he’d go through it frame by frame in case there were any clues about Tripp and Wendy’s whereabouts.

Ava was understandably scared over the situation, but Steve assured her that they’d figure this out.

In captivity on Thursday’s DOOL show, Tripp took Wendy on a pretend trip to Paris, so they spoke French to each other and imagined they were at the finest café there.

Wendy was able to stay positive with Tripp for a while, but then she started to crumble a bit.

Tripp reassured Wendy that they’d find freedom eventually and promised he’d take her to Paris for real.

Next on Thursday’s Days episode, Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) was summoned to the apartment over some emergency, but she quickly realized it was Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) ruse for a Valentine’s Day do-over.

Sloan was amazed over the place being all decked out with candles and flowers, including rose petals on the bed.

Eric let Sloan know that he’d cleared her schedule and put Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) on babysitting duty, so she was delighted.

Once Sloan put on the red lingerie she got Eric as his Valentine’s Day present, they made love and canoodled in the aftermath.

Sloan got Eric to reassure her that they’d continue to make time for each other like this before they started kissing again.

Eric’s cell phone rang, so Sloan was annoyed over the interruption.

After Eric found out Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) was awake, he relayed the news from Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) and said it was a miracle.

Sloan forced a smile, but she secretly rolled her eyes and once again seemed irritated over another intrusion on her romantic time with Eric.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric and Sloan will inevitably have more relationship struggles ahead, so stay tuned.
