Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that there are no coincidences in the land of Salem. As Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) awakens from his recent shooting, fans know that actor Steve Burton’s “days” are numbered.

Not to mention the fact that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is gunning for him and will try to finish the job he started.

Across the hall in the hospital, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) is recovering from successful thyroid cancer surgery; however, suffered a heart attack in the process and may need a new heart. Will Harris be the one who donates this to her?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Steve Burton Has Exited The Soap

DOOL spoilers imply that Harris’s run on the daytime drama is coming to an end. Actor Steve Burton filmed his last scenes in December, which means that fans will likely see him until May, but that doesn’t necessarily mean his character will be around until then.

Perhaps the “final” scenes Burton participated in were “flashbacks” or as a ghost? He could die in the days or weeks ahead, become Paulina’s heart donor, and still have scenes on the show until May Sweeps month.

DOOL Spoilers – Paulina Gets Unusual Flashbacks

DOOL spoilers indicate that Stefan will likely finish the job and kill Harris. Then again, maybe Clyde Weston (James Read) has someone on the “inside” of the hospital and can do it.

As Paulina needs a heart transplant, when Michaels passes away, he could be a perfect match for Ms. Price. This is the land of soaps, where anything is possible.

Back in 2016 when an awful drunk driving accident led to Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) need for a heart transplant, and inevitably Daniel Jonas’s (Shawn Christian) death, Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) took her son off live support and donated his heart to Brady.

After the transplant, Brady began having odd dreams, which ultimately brought Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson) to Salem, who was Daniel’s half-sister and Maggie’s daughter.

Could the same type of storyline be unraveling here? Maybe Paulina’s flashbacks or dreams are connected to Harris’s murder? Maybe it’ll lead to Stefan (or someone else) getting nailed for killing the cop.

Either way, it’s hard to ignore the coincidence of Harris on the verge of dying, and Paulina needing a heart transplant.
