Days of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ’s Sinister Stefano DiMera Turn – Goes Full Baddie After Losing Nicole?
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that there’s been a void in the DiMera clan without Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo), so another DiMera really needs to step up and take his place as a more sinister member of the family.
Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) isn’t around much anymore and is too happy with Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) to jeopardize his romance with villain status anyway.
Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) character has taken a sinister turn lately, but that’s happening against his will.
Days fans are seeing Stefan reluctantly follow another villain’s orders rather ineptly, so he’s just not Stefano successor material!
Of course, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is the nicest of the DiMera brothers and has no interest in being like his villainous father.
DOOL viewers know Chad would much rather focus on his kids and maybe find a path to real happiness again.
As for Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), she wastes too much time with petty plots.
When Kristen isn’t in prison, she’s obsessed with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) – and that doesn’t make her a good contender as Stefano’s successor either.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) may be the one who stands the best chance of carrying the true DiMera torch, especially after some story twists play out in the months ahead.
Days fans will recall that Sloan Peteresen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) stole Nicole DiMera’s (Arianne Zucker) baby with Melinda Trask’s (Tina Huang) help. Due to all the paternity deception, EJ thinks the baby Nicole had belonged to him.
That’s why EJ could go off the rails in a big way once the truth comes to light.
We should see EJ unleash his fury over the baby theft – and he’ll have to face the infuriating, devastating loss all over again when he realizes Jude Brady isn’t his.
That may not even be the worst of it since EJ’s relationship with Nicole is doomed.
There’s been no news about a recast once Arianne Zucker departs on-screen, so Nicole should be written out unless something changes.
Even if a recast does happen, then Days will probably just send Nicole back in Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) romantic direction like they’ve done so many times before – especially since he’s Jude’s father.
That said, the most likely option may be Nicole’s exit. EJ and Nicole have been content together far too long by soap standards anyway, so they’re honestly overdue for an unhappy ending.
EJ has a softer side with Nicole, but that may go away once he loses her – no matter how that loss goes down.
We could see far more sinister version of EJ rise up and take Stefano’s place by going full baddie!
