Peacock’s Days of Our Lives is perhaps one of the longest running Daytime soap opera. Thus, it is inevitable that every now and then several characters or their portrayers fall of the grid. Either by a story dictated call, or for a personal reason of their own. And when the latter happens, a lot of times the character gets a recast.

A recent viral BTS image is stingingly pointing towards yet another recast on Days of Our Lives. But who and why? Let’s take a look! Eagle-eyes DOOL fans got their hands on a BTS picture featuring Ashley Puzemis (Holly).

The young soap star sits in the foreground of the picture, absorbed in her tablet. But the real action is going on in the background. As it turns out, there is a youngster standing next to Ashley, but his face is blurred out by enlarged emoji stickers. While the lad appears to be Tate, he may not be “our Tate”. (Because it looks like our Tate is going to the jail)

Observant and perceptive Days of Our Lives fans point that while the person’s face is hidden by emojis, his reflection isn’t. Fans state the lad’s reflection can be seen in the mirror beside Ashley. And the lad in the mirror is clearly not Jamie Martin Mann, who currently plays Tate.

So, could it be possible that DOOL has recast Tate? We did a deep dig of the internet and found no official confirmation of Jamie leaving Days. However, his social media reflects that he is a student at University of Michigan.

Could he be stepping away from Days of Our Lives to get back to studies? We’ll have to wait and find out. But we sure do hope he remains on the soap. Tate fans are not ready to lose him yet.
