Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Greg Vaughan’s Medical Emergency – Spring Break Goes Horribly Wrong

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady) was hoping for a fun family trip when he headed to Colorado with his sons, but his spring break went horribly wrong.

The DOOL star shared some photos after his urgent care visit and told the story of how he ended up there on his Instagram account.

Greg Vaughan hinted about his trip coming with a soapy twist and suggested it was “nothing short of another great Vaughan adventure,” so he was obviously in good spirits despite a serious ordeal.

After the first day of the trip, Vaughan said he experienced some shortness of breath along with wheezing and congestion following the snowy conditions.

Vaughan also had a headache, but he tried his best to power through.

“I had hydratied all day, so into the night I drank a bottle of Pedialyte and NyQuil’d myself out for the night to be ready to tackle BRECK w/the boys the next morning!” Vaughan said in his post.

However, Vaughan wasn’t able to get much sleep and wound up feeling much worse the next morning with additional symptoms.

Despite trying to rest up so he could still enjoy some vacation time with his boys, Vaughan finally caved in and got examined.

“Two full days gone, enough was enough, I finally surrendered & went to urgent care and to my shock I learned that I was experiencing severe altitude sickness!” Vaughan explained.

Since Vaughan’s blood oxygen level was way off and his lungs were filled with fluid, it’s a good thing he sought treatment!

Vaughan offered updates on some positive news a little later since his health was finally improving.

“Well, 4hrs later, a couple of bags of IV & oxygen tank strapped to my face, I was told that I needed to immediately get off the mountain!” Vaughan said.

As Vaughan wrapped up his post, the Days actor joked about his sons looking after “their old man” and was grateful they had friends on this trip to fill in when he couldn’t join them.

In the comments, Greg Vaughan got plenty of sympathy from his Days costars, including his TV mom.

“Oh honey! I’m so sorry,” Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans) said.

In addition to Hall’s sweet message, Vaughan received well wishes from Alison Sweeney (ex-Sami Brady), Martha Madison (ex-Belle Brady), Eric Martsolf (Brady Black), Robert Scott Wilson (Alex Kiriakis), Kristian Alfonso (ex-Hope Brady) and more.

Thankfully, Vaughan is feeling better, but this was certainly a difficult crisis that happened at the worst possible time!

As for what’s ahead in Salem, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric has drama of his own coming up, so stay tuned for predictions about how the Jude Brady secret will be exposed.
