Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 19, reveals that Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) confirmed Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) was the one who lured him to the docks and fired at him, so a furious Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) slapped him over the news.

Harris eventually brought up Stefan trying to finish him off at the hospital, but Stefan made it clear that Ava wasn’t so innocent and blabbed about them sleeping together.

Ava scrambled to explain that it was a drunken mistake, but Harris didn’t care about the past and only seemed concerned about what Stefan was going to do next.

Harris warned Stefan that he was going to turn himself in for drug trafficking and money laundering.

Stefan would also have to confess that he alone acted as Clyde Weston’s (James Read) partner and that Ava was a coerced, unwilling participant.

Ava wondered why Stefan would do that, so Harris explained that it was better than going down for trying to take out a police officer.

If Stefan took this deal, then Harris said the shooter would remain unknown.

Stefan was given until 9:00 a.m. the next morning to turn himself in – or else he wasn’t going to like what happened.

After Stefan stormed out, Ava apologized to Harris for her hookup with Stefan, but he said there was no need for that.

Harris loved Ava and knew she did too since he was listening at the hospital when she didn’t think he could hear her.

Once Harris asked if Ava meant what she said, she assured him that she did and fell into his warm embrace.

Meanwhile, Stefan grumbled over the pub being closed since he needed some booze. After Stefan muttered about going down while Ava got off scot-free, he said they’d see about that!

At the hospital on Tuesday’s Days episode, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) got a phone call from Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and seemed thrilled over his updates.

Soon after, Sarah joined Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) at the police station since he was getting released on bail soon.

Harris supposedly couldn’t remember who pulled the trigger, so Justin was able to use that to Xander’s advantage.

At home on Tuesday’s Days episode, Xander and Sarah made love on the sofa while Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) babysat Victoria Horton-Cook for the night.

Later, Xander woke up after a bad dream where he couldn’t get to Victoria and Sarah in a tunnel, so he felt like that was about the charges that were still hanging over him.

However, Sarah gave Xander a pep talk and assured him of her love, so he reciprocated that love declaration and eventually headed to the bedroom with her.

After Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) urged Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to go home since they’d been at the hospital for so long, they indeed headed out.

In the town square on Tuesday’s Days episode, Johnny pointed out that they hadn’t had their first dance as husband and wife yet. Chanel danced with Johnny despite the lack of music, so they had a romantic moment together.

Since Johnny and Chanel hadn’t consummated their new marriage either, they got a room at the Salem Inn and hit the sheets.

In the aftermath, Chanel canoodled with Johnny, who thought maybe they should stay there for a few more days and just enjoy the peace.

Back at the hospital on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) stopped by Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) room for a visit.

Paulina explained how a bright light had overwhelmed her just before she was healed and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) got his memory back, so Roman and Kate marveled over the miracle.

Once Abe and Roman stepped out for some coffee in the waiting area, Paulina admitted to Kate that she was concerned about Abe moving back in.

As Paulina worried about not being compatible with her husband, Kate pointed out that she was a handful like Paulina while Roman was mellow like Abe.

It was proof that opposites attract, so Paulina felt better after hearing Kate’s perspective.

In the waiting area, Roman struggled to understand what he was missing about Paulina and Abe’s joint miracle, so Abe swore him to secrecy and confessed Lexie Carver’s (Jennifer K. Lee) heavenly help.

Later, Paulina and Kate refused to let the guys in on the topic of their girl talk while Abe and Roman were cagey about their own discussion.

Roman wanted to plan a barbeque for the four of them once Paulina got out of the hospital, so they were all on board.
