Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers point to a prediction that could finally give Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) the vengeful closure he’s been craving. Now that Clyde Weston (James Read) has escaped from Statesville, it’s stirring up all kinds of messy emotions for Chad.

DOOL has been highlighting a few important things lately, so talk about them.

For starters, there’s been a lot of focus on Chad being the “nice” DiMera brother – perhaps setting the stage for him to do something not so nice!

Days has also been letting Chad relive the horror of finding Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) on the bed after Clyde went after her.

It feels like they’re trying to remind fans of just how horrible it was for Chad to lose his beloved wife in such a heinous way.

In other words, Days writers are helping viewers remember that Clyde is truly a monster.

We’re dealing with a villain who’s the scum of the earth, so he definitely doesn’t deserve to live.

That’s especially true since Clyde continued committing crimes behind bars.

If Clyde gets caught and locked up again, he’ll just go back to all his usual nefarious activities and all his threats will continue.

Someone has to stop Clyde for good, so could that someone be Chad? That brings us to another potential hint about Chad and some danger that’s brewing.

Before Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) married Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens), Chad warned against bringing someone into the DiMera family and used Abigail’s situation as an example of how wrong things could go.

The DiMeras are cursed as far as Chad’s concerned, so Days was heavily hinting about some trouble headed Chanel and Johnny’s way.

Now that Johnny and Chanel are newlyweds who intend to honeymoon at the Horton cabin, it’s probably time for that trouble to strike.

It makes sense that Clyde and Officer Rebecca Goldman (Christy St. John) might be hiding out in an empty cabin they found – or they could at least end up there after Chanel and Johnny arrive.

Meanwhile, Chad could get updates on some news that helps him nail down Clyde’s location.

It’s easy to imagine Chad arming himself and ultimately taking Clyde out to save Chanel and Johnny from a grim fate.

Goldman will be lucky if she survives whatever’s in store, but we’ll see how things play out for her.

Bottom line, we’ve got some dangerous fugitives, a suspicious cabin trip and an angry husband who still needs to avenge his wife.

Does it all add up to Chad eliminating Clyde as part of a rescue mission with vengeful benefits?
