Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that fans are still waiting on a major story development. Bo Brady is stuck in a coma at a long-term facility, but he might have a good reason to wake up soon.

Since Bill Hayes (Doug Williams) passed away earlier this year, preparations are underway for a special tribute to both the actor and character.

Of course, that means Days is bringing back some other familiar faces to give Bill and Doug the proper sendoff.

It’s tough to imagine DOOL being able explain away Hope Williams Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) absence since Doug is her beloved father.

There’s just no believable excuse for why Hope would miss Doug’s memorial service when the time comes.

On some of her social media accounts, Kristian Alfonso posted a lovely tribute of her own to Bill Hayes shortly after his passing.

It’s clear that Alfonso had a great deal of respect for Hayes and enjoyed working with him tremendously.

It seems likely Alfonso will reprise her Days role as Hope, but wouldn’t it be great if Bo could come home with her?

There might even be a situation where Doug’s spirit visits Bo and gives him a nudge to awaken so he can be there for Hope as she grieves.

Bo might regain consciousness and admit that Doug asked him to watch over Hope, so he obviously has to be awake for that!

Whatever the case, Bo’s return would be a nice way to offset the sadness of Doug’s demise and offer some joy to those who are mourning the loss in Salem.

It might be the perfect time to bring Bo Brady back and have him right by Hope’s side for the funeral.

Our predictions hint that plenty of surprises are in store as Days remembers Doug’s best moments and all the wonderful performances Bill Hayes delivered over the years.

The show’s going all out for Doug’s upcoming memorial, so maybe Hope and an awake Bo will make it back in time to bid him farewell.
