Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers point to more challenges in Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Wendy Shin’s (Victoria Grace) relationship, so we’ve got a prediction on another way their bond could be put to the test.

DOOL viewers may recall that Wendy and Tripp talked about their romantic histories in the April 3 episode.

Tripp asked about Wendy’s first love, so she admitted there was a guy named Cameron her freshman year of college.

Wendy met Cameron in a cybersecurity elective and became totally smitten with him, so they dated for a while.

Cameron eventually found someone else and broke things off, so Wendy confessed that she was totally crushed at the time.

However, Wendy told Tripp that all their past romantic failures brought them together, so she seemed OK with that.

It’s not like Wendy is sitting around pining for Cameron, but that story was still quite intriguing.

When Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) first came back to Salem, she wouldn’t shut up about the ex who ghosted her.

It led to Days fans wondering if that former flame might come to Salem one day – and he ultimately did!

Everett Lynch aka Bobby Stein (Blake Berris) reentered Stephanie’s life with an explanation and hoped to reunite with her.

Of course, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) also told Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) stories about her ex-husband, who turned out to be Bobby aka Everett in a big reveal.

Likewise, Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) repeatedly mentioned her brother – and then Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman) arrived in Salem to wreak havoc.

The point we’re making here is that when Days characters tell stories about people who used to be in their lives, it often means we’re going to meet those people sooner or later.

With that in mind, will the show cast Cameron and have him pop up in Salem down the road?

Maybe Wendy could be “the one who got away” for Cameron if he regrets dumping her for someone else years ago.

Tripp pumped the brakes on an actual marriage, but he might change his mind if this Cameron guy comes to town and tries to reignite Wendy’s smitten side.

Cameron could become some serious competition for Tripp, who might propose to Wendy for real in hopes of locking in their future.

Whatever the case, Days has offered up the perfect interloper for Wendy and Tripp thanks to that Cameron story, so stick with us for updates on any news related to Cameron’s possible debut.
