James Scott played EJ DiMera on Day of Our Lives between 2006 and 2014. And boy, did he strike a chord with the viewers with his portrayal! His popularity made it challenging for the show to find a suitable replacement after he left. Moreover, there were always rumors about finding a new EJ but James Scott was adamant on not reprising his role.

Then, Dan came into the picture when he joined Days of Our Lives in 2021. He embraced the charming and cunning role of EJ DiMera. Well, it took some time for some fans to adjust to the new portrayal, as soap viewers often find change difficult. However, many fans loved Feuerriegel right away and welcomed him to Salem. As of now, Feuerriegel has settled into the role and consistently impresses everyone with his acting chops.
