General Hospital Spoilers: Réal Andrews Leaks Taggert Return News – GH Finally Fixing Their Mistake

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there’s some big news to report about Réal Andrews (Marcus Taggert) and his status with the show. Many GH fans have been upset over Taggert getting shoved out of the picture, especially considering everything Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is going through right now.

Taggert is still Trina’s dad in every way that counts, but the show doesn’t treat him that way!

Once a DNA test confirmed Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was Trina’s biological father the writers seemingly tried to force viewers to accept their bond by getting rid of Taggert entirely.

On February 20, Réal Andrews posted a video on social media and made it seem like his potential comeback was still up in the air.

Andrews basically suggested that if it was meant to be, it would happen – though he didn’t offer any kind of confirmation.

However, something has seemingly changed behind the scenes based on a more recent post on X, the social media app formerly known as Twitter.

Let’s look at what Andrews had to say in response to someone else’s message on February 29.

One fan expressed hope that Selina Wu (Lydia Look) might’ve changed the DNA test results and that Taggert was still Trina’s father after all.

They also questioned why the show had been ignoring Taggert’s heartbreak over the paternity news.

“Stay tuned for Taggert Story line,” Andrews replied, so that appeared to confirm that he’s indeed got a story in the works and that he’ll be back on-screen as Taggert soon.

It looks like the show’s fixing their mistake of casting Taggert aside and forgetting about him all these months. Better late than never!

Of course, we can also hold out hope that maybe the DNA test meddling speculation is right.

A lot of fans grew to love Taggert and Trina’s father-daughter connection, so it’d be nice to see it restored.

Even if the writers don’t undo Trina’s paternity, they really need to let Taggert be a strong presence in her life and repair the bond that’s been forgotten.
