Mac has been missed in Port Charles and many fans have anxiously been awaiting John J. York’s General Hospital return. Though no information has been released as to when that will happen, the ABC soap vet recently posted news that’ll give his fans a venue to catch up with the actor.

“So much to talk about… and so excited to be with Kristina [Wagner, Felicia] for her first Zoom!” York shared “Hope you can join us.”

The event will take place on Sunday, July 14, at 7 pm, with a door time of 6:30 pm. Tickets begin at $25, with various packages available, and can be purchased at Coastal Entertainment Productions (link in the post above) so be sure to reserve your seat today.

Those who follow York know he was diagnosed with MDS (myelodysplastic syndromes) and multiple smoldering myeloma in December 2022 and in December 2023, the actor took to social media to share a cancer update and assured everyone that his treatment and road to recover was going very well.

“One day at a time…” he stated. “We’re going to take care of this.”

The last time we saw Mac in Port Charles was last November when he, Jordan and Robert questioned Dante about the shooting — remember, the one where Anna accidentally shot Charlotte? Jordan then informed everyone that since they were all close with Anna, an outsider had been brought in to take over the case.

So, until Mac returns, we continue to send York good vibes and our very best as he navigates this difficult journey.
