General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is dealing with a lot of difficult emotions now that she knows Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is alive and that he’s a suspect in the PCPD’s latest investigation.

On top of being upset over Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) condition, Sam’s having to consider the possibility that Jason could be responsible.

GH fans know Jason didn’t fire at Dante on the pier, but Sam doesn’t feel like she can know anything for sure right now.

That’s what led Sam to declare that if Jason was indeed responsible, she’d never forgive him.

Of course, there are a couple of different reasons for Sam’s stance.

The first one is that it’s creating some excellent drama by having Sam clash with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and not give him the same level of trust.

However, this could also be Sam’s way of keeping her guard up when it comes to her heart, which she’s given to Dante at this point.

Sam may always love Jason deep down, but blaming him and lashing out makes it easier to avoid any old feelings that might try to bubble up.

Since Sam doesn’t have all the facts, that makes all this even scarier. Sam’s behavior toward Jason right now is a shield to protect herself from even more pain.

Nevertheless, Sam could eventually soften toward Jason once she learns everything he’s been up against.

That’s especially true since Dante will hopefully recall what went down once he’s awake and insist Jason saved his life instead of almost taking it.

Sam may not be happy about Jason getting Danny Morgan’s (Asher Jared Antonyzyn) help and encouraging him to lie to his mother, but at least she’ll know he hasn’t turned evil and didn’t fire at Dante.

Although Sam will want to be loyal to Dante as he recovers, she may find herself dealing with some familiar desires.

Sam may not be willing to cheat on Dante as those desires grow, but GH writers could work around that and still take advantage of Sam’s chemistry with Jason.

What if Sam starts dreaming of Jason and craving her ex-husband despite her loyalty to Dante?

It’d be a good way to avoid a real betrayal and still bring some hot scenes as well as angst!

Sam may be feeling angry and suspicious right now, but our predictions point to things inevitably changing down the road.

Once that happens, Jason may invade Sam’s brain and cause her to dream of what a sizzling “JaSam” reunion in the bedroom might be like.
