General Hospital Recap: Tuesday, March 19 – Dex Spills Sonny’s Crimes to Anna – Danny Lies to FBI – Jake Blames Jason

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 19, reveals that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) told Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) that she broke up with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) for good this time and explained the whole Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) situation.

Carly thought Josslyn needed to take some time and gain some perspective. Dex was in an impossible position, but Josslyn thought there was no excuse for going after a defenseless old man in the hospital.

Although Josslyn hated Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) for opening her eyes, she was glad Nina did since she knew the real Dex now.

Josslyn eventually asked if Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) used to kill for Sonny, so Carly seemed hesitant to answer and suggested Joss couldn’t put herself in Dex or Jason’s shoes.

The circumstances were never simple when it came to Sonny’s business, but Carly said if Jason killed someone, it was because they were going to kill him.

Josslyn felt like Carly would stand by Jason no matter what, but that’s not how she felt about Dex.

Carly respected Josslyn’s decision to walk away once she saw things she was unwilling to compromise on, but she knew it wasn’t easy and pulled her daughter into a hug.

At the police station, Dex showed up for a meeting with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and said he’d like to confess to the attempted murder of Cyrus Renault.

After confirming that he was acting on Sonny’s orders, Dex explained the whole story of being hired by Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and then reporting back to Michael and Carly with more helpful intentions once the plan changed.

Dex also admitted that he scored evidence of Sonny moving illegal arms for Pikeman at one point.

Once Dex shared the news that Sonny ordered the hit, he shared how he was going to inject fentanyl into Cyrus’ PICC line until Sonny changed his mind.

Dex was prepared to pay for his actions, but Anna pointed out Nina wasn’t going to testify against him – and Cyrus couldn’t speak on Dex’s motives in his room.

The most Dex could get would be conspiracy charges, but it’d be his word against Sonny’s.

Anna added that Sonny would have Dex killed, so she wasn’t going to let Dex lose his life over prosecution that would go nowhere.

With that in mind, Anna said this conversation never happened. Justice wouldn’t be served this time, but Anna appreciated Dex coming in and trying.

As Dex headed for the door, he told Anna to keep him in mind if she ever needed any help taking down Sonny.

At Charlie’s Pub, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) got Sonny smiling over some funny memories involving Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and assured him of what a great dad he was.

When Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) walked in, she greeted Kristina and got an introduction to Sonny.

The three of them sat down together since Natalia needed help after botching things with Blaze aka Alison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) again.

Since Sonny was so supportive of Kristina and Blaze’s relationship, Natalia asked if it was always this easy for him.

Sonny questioned what Natalia meant, so she said having a daughter that’s gay and being OK with it.

Sonny basically explained that you had to give your kids space to become the people they wanted to be, so Natalia said Kristina was fortunate to have this man as her dad.

Kristina said Sonny always made her feel safe – like she could do anything – and she really wished “Allie” had that with Natalia.

At GH, John Cates (Adam Harrington) grilled Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about Jason since they had history and shared a child, but Liz denied having any contact.

Liz also stressed the fact that Jason might not be guilty, but John wanted to remind her that she could be facing federal charges if she was lying about harboring a fugitive.

Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) eavesdropped nearby and seemed rattled before taking off.

After Danny showed back up at the Quartermaine boathouse, he did some bonding with Jason as he opened up about some of his hobbies and plans.

Willow returned and got rid of Danny in a hurry before giving Jason a fresh bandage and antibiotics.

Jason could tell Willow seemed upset, so she complained about him involving Danny since Agent Cates was asking so many questions – including the ones he asked Liz at the hospital.

Jason assured Willow that he was going to protect everyone helping him and make it like it never happened.

Although Jason wasn’t sure where he’d go once he was well enough, he just wanted to do the least amount of harm to everyone – especially Danny.

Back at GH, Aiden Webber (Enzo De Angelis) told Liz that Jake Webber (Hudson West) was convinced that Jason was to blame for what happened to Dante.

Jake was lashing out at Aiden no matter how he tried to handle things, so Liz vowed to talk to him.

When Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) appeared, Jake asked if Chase thought Jason was responsible.

Chase said Jason was innocent until proven guilty, but Jake thought that was just a standard line and wanted more of an opinion.

After Chase admitted the evidence pointed to Jason, he also acknowledged that Jason seemingly called 911 and delivered first aid.

Liz pointed out that if Jason was to blame for Dante’s injuries, then he’d have to pay – and she wouldn’t let Jake bear the weight of his father’s decisions.

At the Quartermaine mansion, John surprised Danny by showing up and asking questions about his dad.

Danny nervously lied about not having contact with Jason until Brook Lynn intervened and ripped into John for trying to intimidate a minor without a parent or guardian present.

Once Brook Lynn got rid of John, she gave Danny the ELQ attorney’s number and warned him not to “freestyle with the cops” – except for Chase.

After John made it back to his suite at the Metro Court, Anna showed up at his door with some booze and said she owed him a drink.

General Hospital spoilers say Anna and John seem poised to truly team up against Sonny, so stick with us for updates on all our mob mayhem predictions.
