General Hospital Recap: Wednesday, March 20 – Nina’s Single Status Delights Valentin – Molly Cries Over Risky News

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 20, reveals that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) was rude to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) in the Quartermaine stables as she asked about her thoroughbred horse, but James West (Gary James Fuller) told her to be nice since Cody’s friend was in the hospital.

After some talk about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Cody’s knack with kids, James roped Tracy into helping sweep up some oats he spilled and got her to high-five him.

Tracy invited both Cody and James to the main house for some hot chocolate soon after.

At Café Cherie, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) surprised Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) by urging her not to go through with the appeal process to potentially get her law license back.

Alexis was confused about why, so Molly broke down in tears and admitted it was because she preferred her mother sober.

There were concerns about how Alexis would react if things didn’t go her way, but Alexis promised to keep going to AA meetings.

Although Alexis couldn’t guarantee her recovery would stay on track since no one could, she did her best to offer Molly reassurance.

At Charlie’s Pub, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) continued his conversation with Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue), who felt guilty for not seeing what that monster Linc Brown (Dan Buran) was doing to Blaze aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez).

Sonny wondered if that’s why Natalia was working so hard to control Blaze now and basically advised her to help Blaze make decisions for herself.

Once Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) returned to the table, Natalia realized this was something she had to work out with Blaze on her own – though she was grateful for Kristina’s willingness to talk and told Sonny it had been a pleasure.

After Natalia left on Wednesday’s GH episode, Kristina was torn over whether she should text “Allie” updates, but she ultimately decided to hold off and let Natalia talk to her first.

In John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam Harrington) room, he guzzled drinks with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), whose eyes had been forced open when it came to what Sonny was capable of.

Anna felt John was right about her going easy on Sonny due to the way he helped Robin Scorpio (Kimberley McCullough) during her crisis when Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) passed away.

Since Stone viewed Sonny as more of a brother than “Jagger,” that was one of the many reasons John hated him.

If John ever scored incriminating evidence on Sonny, he vowed to pass it along to Anna.

John said it was his job to protect Sonny and find out more about the attempts on his life.

Anna thought John was a better cop than her, but he insisted that wasn’t true today.

John explained how he tried to grill Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) without a parent present until Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) chewed him out.

After John realized he crossed the line, he said he was disappointed he went there in the first place.

It wasn’t John’s finest day as a cop, so Anna confessed that it wasn’t hers either.

“Here’s to being better tomorrow,” Anna said before clinking glasses with John.

At home, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) felt guilty over Dante’s injury on the job and how he couldn’t help him.

Although Chase thought maybe he shouldn’t be a cop anymore, Brook Lynn started pitching his triumphant return to the stage to remind him he was right where he was supposed to be.

Brook Lynn also told Chase about John questioning Danny without a parent around and how she threatened to sue Special Agent Cates into oblivion.

Since threatening a federal agent was a federal crime, Chase essentially urged Brook Lynn to dial it down – though he admitted he would’ve loved to see her in action.

At The Invader, Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) ranted to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) about Alexis trying to get her gossip columnist to quit.

Nina explained that Nina postponed the article to the end of the week, which made it old news.

Furthermore, Alexis blew off the meeting Nina tried to call about this issue, so she was frustrated over that and the previous article that painted Sonny in a poor light.

Valentin didn’t think Sonny cared about a story like that – and if that article decided the fate of Nina’s marriage, he suggested maybe it wasn’t worth fighting for in the first place.

Valentin hated seeing Nina bend over backwards to prove her love when Sonny the hypocrite wasn’t worthy of her.

When Valentin found out Sonny was divorcing Nina, he hinted about feeling like he could breathe again.

Nina wondered if Valentin thought she could go back to him now, but he acknowledged that he wasn’t worthy of her either.

Valentin was just relieved that Nina didn’t have to be Sonny’s wife anymore and offered a prediction about her chance at a brighter future.

Valentin wanted Nina to remember who she really was: Nina Reeves the marvel, survivor and rulebreaker. After Valentin gushed about Nina turning everything into gold, he hoped she remembered all that.

General Hospital spoilers say Nina has some curveballs ahead of here, so stay tuned.
