General Hospital Recap: Friday, March 22 – Jason Arrested, Sasha Resigns and Maxie Kicks Lucy Out

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, March 22, reveals that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) kept trying to boss everyone around at the Deception meeting, which led to plenty of clashing with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

After Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) insisted she was resigning from Deception and that it was effective immediately, Lucy tried to convince her to just take a vacation and let a second model make things easier for her.

Brook Lynn argued that Lucy would run off any models they brought on and stormed out the door.

Sasha assured Lucy that she wasn’t leaving because of her, but she wasn’t the same person she was when she first signed her Deception deal.

Lucy pointed out that based on Sasha’s contract, she’d have to give up her shares and leadership position.

Since the market value for the shares was way down, Sasha wouldn’t get much of anything for them if she left now.

Lucy urged Sasha to wait, but Sasha said Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) cleaned her out and that anything would be more than what she had. Plus, you couldn’t put a price on happiness.

Afte Sasha exited, Maxie ripped into Lucy for how she handled everything.

Lucy tried to act like they could ask Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) to model again, but Maxie doubted that would work out since Brook Lynn was her manager.

Once Maxie called Lucy a one-woman wrecking ball and threw her out of her office, Lucy left looking rather ashamed.

At the PCPD, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) gave Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) and her classmates a tour before swearing them in as honorary deputies.

Brook Lynn watched and enjoyed the stress relief before giving Chase updates on fresh drama with Lucy.

Now Brook Lynn was starting to question if her longshot plan to give Maxie control of Deception was just making things worse.

At the Quartermaine stables, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) opened up to a horse about quitting his modeling job and worried about how that decision would affect Sasha and Maxie.

Once Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) showed up with some Italian food she’d made, she sat with Cody and laughed as he told childhood stories about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Later, Sasha found Cody and delivered the news that she also resigned from Deception.

After reassuring Cody that he didn’t push her into it, Sasha said she’d figure something out financially and looked forward to finding a new career path.

Cody talked about how he liked settling down in Port Charles and having friends. Now that Cody had saved up some money from the modeling gig, he was excited to explore new dreams.

At the boathouse on Friday’s GH episode, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) told Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about the close call with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and the stolen meds.

Although Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) hacked the system and handled it, Jason didn’t like how many people were getting dragged into his mess.

Michael had a plan to fly Jason to the Grand Keys on the ELQ jet, but Jason felt that could be traced back to Michael and refused.

When Michael suggested chartering a private jet instead, Jason thought it was still too risky.

Besides, Jason knew there would be consequences if he ran due to the leverage that was hanging over him.

That led to Jason deciding the only thing he could do was turn himself in.

After Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) talked to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) about her plan to help Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) be a lawyer again, she got a call from Michael’s phone.

Once Diane realized it was Jason on the phone instead, she admitted she’d been expecting his call and was willing to help.

Back at the police station, Diane told Chase that she was there on behalf of a client who was surrendering himself voluntarily.

Once Jason appeared, an angry Chase quickly read him his rights and was eager to book him.

Diane insisted on speaking to Jason first, so Chase allowed them to speak alone in the interrogation room.

Although Diane obviously wasn’t thrilled about the circumstances, she was glad to see Jason again and told him so.

Diane wondered if Jason could tell her what all this was about, but Jason didn’t spill any details. Jason could, however, tell Diane that he wouldn’t be there for long!

General Hospital spoilers say Jason’s showdown with John Cates (Adam Harrington) is coming up soon, so we’ll offer more predictions on how things will turn out for the two of them.
