General Hospital spoilers tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) went through all the emotions when she discovered that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was alive and standing right in front of her.
A lot has happened since then even though it has only been a few weeks. Almost immediately, Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson), Jason’s twin, broke up with Carly knowing that Jason would always come first.
Carly was heartbroken but she knew in her heart that Drew was right. But Carly, as well as the rest of Port Charles, still had a lot of questions.

Jason eventually revealed that he had been picked up by the FBI right after he went missing. The blackmailed him into becoming an informant with the goal of bringing down the Pikeman Organization.
But Jason remained tight-lipped about exactly what he was being blackmailed with. It wasn’t long before FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) revealed the truth during a confrontation between himself, Jason and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Jason wasn’t protecting himself at all. Instead, Agent Cates threatened to have Carly arrested for RICO violations if he didn’t work for them.

Carly still has no idea just how far Jason went to protect her from a twenty-year jail sentence. And he’s determined to make sure it stays that way.
For one thing, Carly would blame herself But Jason knows that ultimately this was his choice.
No one forced him to do anything. It anything, Jason would blame Cates for putting him in this position in the first place.
But that’s not all, Carly would never let Jason suffer because of her mistakes. If she knew the truth, she would turn herself in rather than let Jason put himself at risk any longer.
General Hospital Spoilers – Could Carly Spencer And Jason Morgan Make Love once again?
Jason and Carly have always had a special friendship. It’s crossed the line into romance a time or two, but first and foremost these two have always been friends.
But once Carly learns the truth, it may strengthen their bond even further. It seems quite possible that they would experience the ultimate expression of that love by being intimate.
It likely wouldn’t turn into a full-blown romance, but it would add another layer to their sweet but complicated relationship.
