General Hospital Recap: Wednesday, April 10 - Ava Discovers Sonny’s Weak Meds - Jason's Fatal Warning

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 10, reveals that Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) got dressed after their hookup, which Nina regretted and accused Drew of fantasizing about.

Drew said he’d only been fantasizing about putting Nina behind bars and suggested their mutual hatred had fueled the passion.

Nina kept pushing Drew to put her on the Aurora board of directors, but he didn’t see why he should help her and didn’t think Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) would change his mind about her anyway.

After Nina offered updates on what happened during Michael and Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) anniversary dinner, Drew pushed her buttons about that and about how she was still pining for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Drew grabbed Nina’s arm before she could slap him, but she warned that he’d better not tell Sonny about this.

After Drew pointed out he wasn’t eager to brag about hooking up with Nina, he indicated that Sonny was busy with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) drama.

Drew also brought up the fact that Sonny was spending a lot of time with Ava Jerome (Maura West) as his roommate.

Nina just wanted to focus on mending fences with Willow, so Drew suggested he could use his influence on her since they were friends.

However, Nina would have to find a way to make it worth his while, so he pushed her to get creative.

Meanwhile, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) complained about the broken ice machine on John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam Harrington) floor and acted like that wouldn’t have happened if she were in charge.

Carly brought John ice from another floor and insisted on staying with him.

In Carly’s opinion, John needed someone to wake him up throughout the night since he might have a concussion.

Carly accused John of tracking Jason down by the waterfront, but he dropped some hints and got her to realize he was actually following Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy).

After Carly admitted John’s mugging had made him more fun, he suggested he was indeed a fun guy.

It’s just that Carly didn’t know John well enough to understand that yet.

Once John dozed off on Wednesday’s GH episode, Carly switched off the lights and planned to wake him up in a couple hours.

At Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) place, they discussed the possibility that Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) case could be reopened based on the medical precedent Kevin had found.

Kevin hinted that he’d like to see Heather redeemed since he felt guilty for the choices he made regarding Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and the chaos they’d unleashed.

Laura assured Kevin that everything that happened wasn’t his fault. Besides, if Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) hadn’t come into their lives, then they wouldn’t have Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).

At Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) place, Blaze aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) opened up about the pros and cons of having a control freak mom.

Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) had been helpful with Blaze’s career, but she wished her mother would trust her to live her own life.

Talk turned to Kristina’s parents, so she expressed concern for Sonny since Ava was living with him and making herself indispensable.

Kristina admitted that Sonny liked what Ava was doing, so that troubled her even more.

At home, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was able to walk upstairs to the bedroom without his cane, so Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was elated over the news.

Portia told Curtis about her fears regarding Heather and the possibility that she could get released, but they eventually got passionate and hinted about planning an official honeymoon.

At Sonny’s penthouse, Ava couldn’t sleep and wound up snooping through the drawers in Sonny’s bathroom to help with that.

Once Ava pulled out Sonny’s prescription, she saw that the pills could cause drowsiness and took some of them.

After Ava went back to bed, she marveled over the pills doing nothing and basically wondered what they were good for.

At the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, Sonny argued that Jason forfeited his half of the company by pretending he was deceased for so long.

Jason insisted he was protecting Sonny, but Sonny said he didn’t need protecting since he wasn’t a child.

Sonny vowed to remove Jason if need be and pushed for details on his arrangement with the FBI.

Jason couldn’t divulge much of anything, so Sonny asked if firing at him was part of the deal.

When Jason denied trying to take him out, Sonny wondered why he should believe that. Jason argued that Sonny could believe it since he didn’t miss.

After Sonny called Jason a traitor, Jason noticed how jittery he was and asked if he was taking his meds.

Sonny insisted he was taking them like clockwork and wasn’t having a breakdown.

Since Jason insisted he just wanted his half of Corinthos Coffee and would stay out of Sonny’s way, Sonny finally relented.

After Sonny told Jason to take the office and rot in it, he offered a grim warning.

If Jason double-crossed Sonny or interfered with his business or life, then Sonny vowed to end him.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny and Jason’s tension will get worse before it gets better, so stick with us for more predictions on all the conflict.
