At Finn’s place, Chase thanks Finn for talking to their dad. Finn still thinks Chase could say it better than he could, as he does things with caring and compassion. Chase says he can do it with care and compassion too, but Finn notes he’s not known for his bedside manners.

Gregory comes out, and Finn tells his dad they want to talk to him about this evening and the rehearsal dinner. He looks at Chase, but Gregory stops him and has something to say first. He says the rehearsal dinner at Coney Island seems like an amazing experience, but he feels he should not go to conserve his energy for tomorrow’s big event. Chase says he understands. Finn says this is the right decision and he will call a home help aid to watch him tonight.

Finn and Gregory argue GH

Gregory refuses to allow a health aid to come in. He says they won’t be gone overnight, but Chase says they’ll be home really late. Finn thinks Chase shouldn’t have to feel like he abandoned him at home and be unable to enjoy his rehearsal dinner. Gregory throws Finn abandoning him the night before his wedding to Jackie and running off for years, and says, “Please, son, lecture me about wedding etiquette.” Finn thinks Chase can handle this from here and walks out.

Gregory insults Finn GH

Later, Chase tells his dad he’s making breakfast and asks if he wants anything. Gregory apologizes for what he said and feels like he spoiled tonight for him and his brother. He says he shouldn’t have lashed out, and his nerves are just getting to him. He says tomorrow is so important, and he can’t focus on tomorrow if he has some stranger here watching over him like a toddler. Chase says he’s concerned they are putting too much pressure on him, asking him to preside over the wedding. Gregory says it’s not pressure, it’s the greatest honor of his life. Gregory says he is sorry, and tonight is not about him, so call the agency.

Laura drops by Alexis’ place, where the ex-lawyer is preparing for her hearing next week. Laura thinks she’ll do great, and says she is here because she’s an excellent lawyer. She tells her about her visit with Heather, who is clearer-headed than ever now that the metalosis is out of her system. Laura relays that Heather is questioning her behavior and is showing signs of remorse. Laura asks if she found anything that could help her with Heather’s case? Alexis has found a few cases and asks Laura to get her a transcript of the trial. However, she warns her no judge will dismiss all the charges because the body count is too high, and this is a long shot. Laura says the metalosis may have caused her to do what she did. Alexis says as a citizen of Port Charles, a free Heather concerns her, but as a hopefully once again lawyer, everyone deserves a fair trial, so she agrees to help her.

Laura and Alexis GH

Later, Finn shows up to vent to Alexis. He tells her everything that went down with his father, and he walked out on his dad after he brought up Jackie. Finn feels he essentially abandoned him again. Alexis says what he did was remove himself from an unwinnable argument. Finn says he distanced himself from his father for over 30 years and blamed him for moving on from his mom too fast. He says if he ever thought his dad would forgive him, this morning he indicated he wouldn’t.

Finn and Alexis GH

Alexis says they moved on, and seemingly unforgivable things can be forgiven. Alexis relays her own troubles with Sam in the past over her giving her up as a baby, and she and Kristina have always had butted heads. Alexis says the fact that Gregory felt safe enough to bring Jackie up to him means he has faith in their relationship. Finn doesn’t feel safe and needs a meeting. He also can’t go to the rehearsal dinner and leave his father alone. Alexis gets an idea.

Alexis calls up Gregory. She tells him she’s heading to Albany in the morning for her hearing, and she’s nervous and could use his opinion on some cases she’s found, and she’d like him to look over what she’s going to say at her appeal. She says she could bring over dinner, too. He says he’d be happy to help. She gives Finn a thumbs up.

Jordan drops by Laura’s office as she’s on the phone and trying to get Heather’s court transcripts. Jordan lets her know the riverfront project is moving forward thanks to a donation from the congressman. Laura is surprised and wants to hear more. Jordan says first, she wants to know what is going on with Heather Webber. Laura says it’s recently come to light that Heather has been suffering from a medical issue due to a disintegrating hip replacement, which poisoned her body. Laura explains that chemical imbalance may have affected her judgment in the past and her behaviors. Now that the hip has been removed, she is recovering. She says this could be mitigating circumstances in her case.

Laura and Jordan talk Heather GH

Jordan wonders if she’s hoping to prove that Heather should be let go. Jordan can’t be objective here, given Heather traumatized Trina and killed a cop, Rory. She tells Laura she needs to understand how the victims’ families will feel about this. Jordan suggests she not go near this, she should hire a third party lawyer because for her to get involved would be political suicide. Laura insists she isn’t trying to get her exonerated or released, but Jordan says her opponents would still challenge her and she would hate to see her sacrifice her career over Heather Webber.

At the Metro Court, Ava tells Sonny she’s contacted some artists to commission a piece for the city. Sonny says that’s not necessary as he’s moved on. Ava notices he’s looking at Jordan and Olivia, who are chatting.

Sonny and Ava argue GH

Later, Olivia comes over to their table and tells Sonny that she’s working to pull out all the stops for Chase and Brook Lynn’s wedding. Ava excuses herself when Trina calls, and Olivia hopes Sonny’s not bringing that one to the wedding. She says there will be a lot of people who know Ava there. Ava returns and asks, “What people?” Olivia says Cerrulos and Falconeris, for starters.

Olivia disses Ava GH

Olivia walks off, and Ava tells Sonny she did buy a nice dress if he wants to take her to the wedding, but Sonny tells her that she’s not going. He says the Cerullos and Falconeris have long memories. Ava says she knows those people think they know what she did. Sonny tells her she killed Connie, and just because the evidence was destroyed doesn’t mean she didn’t do it. Ava says it was a long time ago. He asks how long before she lets go of what Ryan did to Kiki? She can’t believe he’s throwing her daughter’s murder in her face. Sonny says that’s how the families will feel about her. An angry Ava says perhaps it’s time she moves out. Sonny says if she wants to move out then he’ll buy her and Avery a place, or she can continue to stay with him. Ava says she’ll take care of her daughter herself, just as she always has, and storms out.

Natalia stops by her daughter’s room at the Metro Court to see what she’s wearing to the Quartermaine wedding. Blaze hasn’t decided and asks why her mom cares. Natalie says, “I don’t want to clash with it.” Natalia assumes she can be her plus one at the wedding, but Blaze explains she’s taking Kristina. Natalia thinks that is a bad idea, and the two of them going out in public isn’t a good idea. Blaze knows there are still intolerant people in the world, but this is going to be a family wedding, not a public one. Natalia argues there will be photos taken and posted on social media, professional photographers and it will be in the press. Blaze says the Quartermaines are used to handling the press, and she’s going with Kristina.

Blaze and NAtalia argue GH

Natalia says she is thinking about this the wrong way, as she not going to this wedding as Alison but as Blaze. Blaze is a brand, and she doesn’t want a photo of her and Kristina going viral online to undo all their hard work. Natalia says she’s going to her manager’s wedding, so this is a fantastic PR moment. Blaze won’t use her friend as a stepping stone. Natalia thinks Brook Lynn should be using this opportunity to boost her career. Blaze tells her mother she appreciates everything she’s done for her, but there are decisions about her life only she can make, and this is one of them. Blaze says she understands how her image is important, but nothing she and Kristina have done is a threat to her career. It’s the opposite, as she’s so happy and it’s coming out in her music, and her fans can’t wait for her new single. Natalia comments happy musicians don’t make great music. Blaze asks if she is saying she has to be miserable to be successful. Natalia says she’s made her decision, and time will tell which one of them is right.

Natalia knows best GH

Natalia heads down to the restaurant and runs into Sonny at his table. She assumes he’s expecting someone, and he says, “Maybe I was expecting you.” He asks her to join him, and she does and is all smiles.

At the warehouse, a manic Sam asks Jason if Danny is here. Jason says he’s not. Sam explains he wasn’t in first period and he didn’t make an appointment he had with his counselor. She found his phone was still at home and under a pile of clothes so she can’t track him and know where he is. Jason swears he hasn’t seen Danny and argues that Sam is training him to lie to her. Sam tells Jason he knows nothing about her relationship with Danny. Jason says he is teaching him that he can’t see his father. Sam says she doesn’t want Danny being put in danger, and can he guarantee if Danny shows up at his place again that he won’t be walking into a dangerous situation? Jason can’t. Sam says Danny chases danger, just like him, and just like she used to. He doesn’t see that in Danny, he sees a kid who wants his freedom. Sam yells that’s every teenager, and he knows nothing about raising a teenager. She says he hasn’t been here, as he has been alive doing who knows what these past two years. She adds, “Nice tattoo by the way, what are the odds Danny will want one now.” She brings up the boat house, and him telling their son to lie to her. Jason says be mad at him, not Danny. Sam yells that she is mad at him and is afraid for their son. Jason says Danny is a kid and he is going to get in trouble, but life goes on. She asks if he knows so much about their son, then where is he right now?

Jason Anna talk GH

Danny’s school calls Sam, and he is with the counselor now. He just got the appointment time wrong. Also, his first period teacher didn’t put the attendance in until later. She tells him to just say “I told you so.” Jason is just glad he’s safe. Sam tells him to tell Sonny that she says hi, but Jason says he’s not here and has no idea where he is. She asks if something happened between them. Jason reveals to Sam that he’s been working undercover for the FBI as an informant. While the undercover part is over, his connection with the FBI is not. She asks if he’s working with Cates, and he confirms that. She realizes that’s why Sonny’s turned his back on him. She asks how he got involved in the FBI. He can’t tell her, but he can say he had no choice in this and would never have chosen to stay away from his family. Sam thanks him for telling her and for honoring the boundaries they discussed about Danny.

Sam is upset with Jason GH

Sam leaves and makes a call to someone. She says she needs to see them.

On the next General Hospital: Joss challenges cadet Dex to a race. Cates wants to find out why Carly visited Brennan. Dante and Sam meet to discuss Jason’s work for Cates. Sonny continues to spend time with Natalia. Anna tells Jason that “she” just made their job more difficult.
