Brook Lynn and Chase’s wedding next week on General Hospital just keeps getting bigger and bigger. First there were her grandparents, Carmine and Gloria, coming back to Port Charles for the big May Sweeps event. And now, according to our sister site Deadline, General Hospital is going to be introducing us to her cousin, Giovanni Cerullo, played by the uber talented Giovanni Mazza.

And that’s not all he’ll be playing as Giovanni will treat Brook Lynn and Chase’s wedding guests to a violin performance during their romantic nuptials! While Mazza has been acting since a young age, making his TV debut back in 2015 on Nickelodeon’s Bella and the Bulldogs, the accomplished violinist is well known for his performances during basketball games, from the NBA to the OTE and the WNBA.

Check out his performance below at a Los Angeles Lakers game just last year.

While Deadline doesn’t say whether or how long he’ll be sticking around, as they point out, soaps typically bump up their teen and younger cast during the summer when school’s out and younger viewers may be home watching.

And while Mazza wouldn’t quite fit in with the younger teens on the show, fans have already begun speculating that with Nicholas Alexander Chavez’s Spencer gone, he could be brought in as a potential new love interest for Trina. We’d like to think the (we’re guessing) Bensonhurst native would be a bit more easygoing than the intense Spencer.

Plus, who doesn’t love a man who can serenade you by violin?
