Prior to Little People Big World celeb Lilah Roloff needing surgery, Tori Roloff told her many followers that she was nervous about the whole thing. Already, Jackson Roloff has had to have surgery, and, this time around, it was little Lilah who had to go in.
Lilah had to have surgery for a different reason compared to her brother. Especially when you have young children, it’s always a tough thing knowing that they have to go in for some type of procedure. So, it was a tense time for the entire family as Lilah got ready for what they needed to do.

LPBW: Why Did Lilah Need Surgery?
In Lilah Roloff’s case, Tori Roloff and Zach Roloff’s middle child was diagnosed with sleep apnea. This is something that is quite common among little people. According to the Little People of America website, there’s a reason why sleep apnea is so common among little people.
For little people, their bones fuse prematurely, but their soft tissues keep growing, including the tongue and tonsils. This means that these parts of the body, contained in a “smaller than normal space,” increase the likelihood of an obstruction happening.
For Lilah Roloff, her Little People Big World surgery involved getting her tonsils taken out. While that may be a common procedure, naturally, the whole family was nervous and hoping for the best for Lilah as she went in to have the procedure done.
Little People Big World: Tori Roloff Gives Update On Lilah, How Is She?
Tori Roloff recently took to her Instagram story to share an update on Lilah. She shared a pic with her daughter curled up on her, and it looks like Lilah is still struggling with the aftermath and the recovery period of the procedure, which is understandable.
Tori Roloff told her Little People Big World followers: “A little less happy today but we’re still going strong. Praying this is the worst.”
Tori Roloff then added: “Hoping a popsicle will perk her up later.”
Lilah Roloff may be going through it with her recovery, however, Little People Big World fans are glad to know that she is recovering and on the mend back at home. Best of all, they got what they needed out of the way, and things should improve for her as she recovers.
