Fans begged the network to take the long-running show off the air in the wake of Garrison’s tragedy on Wednesday.

Several took to Reddit where they dicussed the loss of Janelle, 54, and Kody Brown’s son.

“The show needs to be done. to navigate losing a child is unimaginable. there is no name for losing a child. my heart breaks for them. we as viewers should not watch or want to watch this family mourn this lose,” one suggested.

“I was taught you love in private and you grieve in private no one should be watching,” they added.

“It depends on what the family wants. Totally and completely. I could see them not wanting to drag this onto TV,” a second noted.

“I think it should be canceled, frankly I thought another season was wrong before hearing the terrible news about Garrison,” a third remarked.

“I am curious if anyone feels it’s wrong to take away an income source for the mother’s/children during a trauma no less, if they actually want to keep filming?” a fourth wondered.

“I keep seeing people calling for the show to be cancelled now but like… literally what else would any of these people do put food on the table?

“Campaigning to get the show cancelled when we know they have no other way to make money and Janelle has been very open about how f**ked her financial situation is bc of Kody, on top of the worst tragedy of their life…it seems cruel,” they argued.

“Garrison’s death will unfortunately create another story line for the TLC vultures to profit on,” a fifth asserted.

GARRISON’S FINAL WORDS

Earlier on Wednesday, Garrison’s final texts were exposed, sent just one day before his death by suspected suicide.

Police spoke with Janelle in the aftermath of her son’s death, according to a police report obtained by TMZ.

The TV personality claimed to officials that she discovered “troubling” messages from her son that were sent to a group of people one day prior.

Police explained that according to Janelle, Garrison had texted a several individuals that the Brown family works with on their TLC show.

The message reportedly read, “I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.”

After learning of Garrison’s strange text, she told police that she reached out to her son who engaged with her for only a few minutes before he stopped replying.

She then contacted her other kids to have someone check on the 25-year-old, and his older brother Gabriel offered.

By the time Gabriel arrived in Flagstaff, Garrison had already died.

FAMILY DRAMA

According to the outlet, Janelle told the police that her son was estranged from his father, Kody Brown, at the time of his death.

Robert Garrison Brown was born on April 10, 1998, and often appeared on his family’s reality show that chronicled his parents’ polygamist lifestyle.

Janelle and Kody divorced in 2023, along with two of his other wives Christine and Meri.

Garrison enlisted in the Nevada National Guard in 2015 and graduated from basic training in 2016.

By 2021, Garrison had moved away from his family to Arizona and was not on speaking terms with his father.

HEARTBROKEN PARENTS

On Instagram, Janelle wrote, “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him.

“His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

Garrison’s death followed a tumultuous period with his family, particularly with Kody.
