MERI Brown has shared a tribute for her late mother shortly after the death of Janelle and Kody Brown’s son.

The Sister Wives star opened up about her emotional week while honoring her mom’s legacy in a new Instagram post.

Meri, 53, shared a new photo of her smiling next to her mom, who smiled back as she sat in the chair next to her.

Meri’s mom, Bonnie Joyce Barber, died unexpectedly on March 26, 2021, at the age of 76 years.

The throwback pic captured the love between Meri and her mom as the TLC star paid tribute to her birthday in the caption.

Meri also asked her mom to look over Garrison, who died by suicide on March 5, leaving fans in tears over the heartfelt post.

“This week has been full of an array of emotions, but I couldn’t let this March 9th pass without acknowledging and celebrating my sweet mom on her birthday,” Meri wrote.

“She’s the one who always gave comfort and support, and was there at the drop of a hat when you needed her.

“She loved without question and beyond measure. She made you feel like you were the only one in her world when you were with her. She served with a smile, and loved with her huge heart.”

Meri went on to say that her mom loved all of her grandkids, including the other children her ex, Kody Brown, shares with her fellow sister wives.

“They were all hers, and all of our kids lovingly called her ‘Grandma,'” Meri explained.

She also spoke about Garrison’s recent death.

Garrison Brown was discovered dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound by his younger brother Gabe, 22, on March 5.

Garrison died at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona, the Flagstaff Police Department told The U.S. Sun.

“I have a little more comfort this week knowing that she was likely on Garrison’s welcoming committee, smiling that perfect smile at him and holding his sweet face in her loving hands,” she added.

“Keep an eye on our boy up there, Mom! And give him a hug for me!”

‘CAN’T HELP BUT CRY’

Fans shared their sadness on Reddit, where one person reshared the tribute post.

“My heart is broken for their family and I am sure Janelle’s mom was right here with Grandma Bonnie to welcome him in their arms,” they wrote.

“That actually made me tear up a little,” a second added.

“I know Meri’s relationship with Janelle is complicated, but this was a sweet, heartfelt message of love and support, and I hope it somehow reaches Janelle and brings her even just a tiny bit of peace,” said a third.

“This was a really sweet post and made me tear up,” a fourth wrote.

“It’s such a sweet message. Can’t help but cry every time Garrison is mentioned,” another noted.

GARRISON’S DEATH

It was reported on Tuesday that the TLC star died of suicide.

“It is with great sadness I confirm Mr. Robert Garrison Brown was located in his residence deceased, as a result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. On March 5, 2024, Flagstaff Police officers responded to a report of a death inside a home,” Flagstaff PD confirmed to The U.S. Sun.

“Upon arrival officers met with a sibling, identified as ‘Gabe,’ and discovered Mr. Brown deceased as a result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

“At this time there is not any indication of foul play, and Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are investigating.”

Reports said Garrison stopped replying to his mom’s texts the night before, which prompted Gabe to go check on his brother.

Gabe told the police that Garrison “had been struggling with mental health concerns and alcohol abuse.”

Garrison was born on April 10, 1998, and was Kody’s eighth child and Janelle’s fourth.

He enlisted in the Nevada National Guard in 2015 and graduated from basic training in 2016.

He had previously appeared on Sister Wives with his parents, who got married spiritually in 1993 and then called it quits almost 30 years later in 2022.

Janelle broke her silence on the devastating loss shortly after the news was revealed.

“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him,” she wrote in a statement on Instagram.

“His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

Kody was reportedly the first to the scene of Garrison’s death, with Janelle arriving shortly after.

Prior to his death, it was known to Sister Wives fans that Garrison and Kody had a tumultuous relationship for years, leading to their estrangement.

“They were still estranged and sadly, never made up before Garrison died,” a source previously told The U.S. Sun.
