The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of September 4-8 reveal that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will get to work right away in her new position. After Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) makes Nikki the CEO of Newman Media, she’ll plan to hit the ground running and achieve great things.
However, it looks like Nikki will make time for a little side project – one that could lead to big results if Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) does what she’s told and pulls off her mission.
Audra will indeed tackle a shady assignment for Nikki, so could that involve seducing Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) away from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)?
There might be a promotion or at least some perks in it for Audra if she can break up Victoria and Nate’s romance.
It probably wouldn’t be all that hard considering Nate’s history of cheating and the flirting he’s been doing with Audra lately.
Nikki may count on Audra to split up Nate and Victoria since she just doesn’t trust him with her daughter’s heart.
Perhaps Nikki will hope this could lead to Nate getting kicked out of the company as well as Victoria’s life!
While Audra puts Nikki’s plan in motion, Y&R spoilers say Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will work on a plot of her own.
That’ll involve some matchmaking, so Phyllis might hope she can repair the damage to Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) marriage before it’s too late.
Kyle and Summer already agreed to move forward with a divorce, but Phyllis may get updates on that news and fight it by playing Cupid.
Of course, it’s also possible Phyllis will push Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) back in Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) direction if she sees the potential to reunite her son with his ex.
Either way, Phyllis will apparently meddle in one or both of her children’s love lives, so that sounds like a recipe for disaster.
Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) jealousy could be on the rise depending on how things play out between Daniel and Heather.
Regardless, Lily will spend some time with her own former flame when she catches up with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Will that conversation stay strictly platonic or could romantic feelings become hard to keep buried?
Meanwhile, Victor will surprise Victoria by setting some boundaries when it comes to her power.
Victoria likes to think it’s her way or the highway at Newman Enterprises, but it’s still Victor’s company – and he gets the final say on all decisions.
Although Victor sometimes lets Victoria make moves that he doesn’t agree with, he always reserves the right to override her choices.
Victor may pull rank with Victoria on some important issues once she gets back from Los Angeles and stir up some conflict with her in the process.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say the week of September 4-8 will deliver some hostility and surprises in Genoa City, so stay tuned.
