The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor’s Golden Grandchild Reignites Family Drama – Adam Objects to Claire’s Reward

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is warming up to Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), especially now she’s on board with her role in the trap for Jordan (Colleen Zenk). Claire is proving she’s a loyal team player who’s willing to trust that Victor knows best – and that’s the quickest way to earn his respect.

Of course, not everyone in the family is as eager to have faith in Claire.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) certainly has concerns about Claire becoming part of the family after the way she helped Jordan target multiple Newmans at the lake house.

However, it’s easy to see that Claire’s a brand-new woman these days.

Claire’s therapy sessions have done amazing things for her mental state, so she’s feeling stronger and much more in control of her life.

Now Claire understands that Jordan is a menace who kidnapped her and filled her head with lies about the Newman clan.

Thanks to all the work Claire did to get better and the work she’ll continue to do in outpatient therapy, Y&R spoilers say she’s ready for a new chapter.

The main goal of Claire’s early release is for her to serve as bait for Jordan, but she indeed seems ready to make this transition.

Claire will be under close supervision with her family for a while, but this is a great next step when it comes to living a brand-new life – one that eventually puts her back out in the world again.

Adam will no doubt remain wary of Claire once he finds out all the details of her early release and how much Victor’s relying on her.

It could stir up some jealousy on Adam’s part, especially if the plan works and Claire plays a key role in taking Jordan down.

Claire may be rewarded with another job somewhere within Newman Enterprises if she continues on this path.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) might even be willing to welcome Claire back to Newman Media in the COO position this time around.

Adam isn’t going to like how most of the Newmans are embracing Claire after all the Oregon terror – particularly after he’s worked so hard to be accepted while facing skepticism.

In other words, Victor’s new golden grandchild may lead to issues with his outsider son, so stay tuned for updates on the conflict that might be brewing.
