Melody Thomas Scott recently achieved a big milestone in her career. On February 20, she celebrated an incredible 45 years on the show! Instead of having a big party, she decided to spend the day helping others in her community.
Rather than drinking champagne and eating cake, The Young And The Restless actress chose to dedicate her anniversary to a good cause. She, along with some of her co-stars, including Eric Braeden, Lauralee Bell, Michelle Stafford, Tracey E. Bregman, and Colleen Zenk, volunteered at Project Angel Food. This charity makes and delivers meals to people who are seriously ill.

Together, they worked at the Annenberg Foundation Meal Delivery Center, preparing meals for those who needed them. Melody thanked her co-stars for joining her in this important activity, showing her appreciation on Instagram and expressing her love for them.
She also took a moment to thank her fans, who have supported her throughout her long journey on The Young and The Restless. For more than four decades, viewers have watched her character’s story unfold in the fictional town of Genoa City.
