The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis’ Jack Obsession Returns – Diane’s Old Foe Fights for Familiar Love?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will hope for the best when Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) shows up at Society for the goodbye dinner they planned.

Phyllis convinced Danny to cook for her and will rent out the whole restaurant with a little help from Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) on the March 4 episode.

Unfortunately, Phyllis won’t realize that there have been some new developments in Danny’s relationship with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).

After Danny decides Christine is right, he’ll determine that he has to draw a line in the sand with Phyllis.

Danny has been letting Phyllis get away with far too much, so it seems he’ll shut down her dinner plans and dash her dreams.

Phyllis will have to face that facts since Danny will make it crystal clear what his future lies with Christine instead.

Danny might even cut off contact since Phyllis may not accept his news any other way!

Regardless, Phyllis should be pretty distraught once she faces this difficult rejection.

How will Phyllis cope in the aftermath? It seems like Phyllis is desperate for someone familiar to bring love to her life right now.

There was a certain comfort that Phyllis found in Danny – though winning her competition with Christine was obviously a huge factor, too.

Phyllis doesn’t like to lose, so she may find herself drawn to a different former flame and another rivalry as well.

Could the feud over Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) reignite and put Phyllis at odds with Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) again?

Jack was furious with Phyllis for faking her demise and trying to make sure Diane went to prison for it, but time tends to heal all wounds on Y&R.

Now that Jack’s anger has dialed down, there’s the potential for him to fall for Phyllis once more.

Jack is in a happy marriage with Diane at the moment, but blissful soap romances don’t typically last forever.

That’s especially true when there are manipulative characters like Phyllis around to make a mess of things!

Will Danny’s rejection send Phyllis down another destructive path? Could Phyllis’ obsession with Jack come roaring back and put her on Diane’s bad side?
