The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has basically disappeared from the canvas now that she’s without a love interest. Sharon decided to break things off with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and dropped off the map soon after.
Of course, Sharon is running Cassidy First Technologies, but that’s mostly happening off-screen.
Y&R fans used to at least Sharon at Crimson Lights, but she’s vanished from there too for the most part.
It’s bizarre that Sharon is treated like some random nobody in town when she’s been a staple on this show for years!
Sharon is a popular character played by a talented actress, so there’s no reason she should have to fade to the background.
Although Sharon doesn’t need a man to be happy, it would probably help her chances of getting substantial airtime.
Soaps rely on romantic stories to drive a lot of the drama, so maybe getting Sharon paired up is the key to seeing her more often.
Y&R has been teasing the possibility of a Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) reunion, but there’s no guarantee that plan will pan out.
Even if Nick and Sharon do get back together, it may not happen anytime soon.
Sharon has been paired with several Genoa City newcomers in the past, so maybe it’s time to revisit that strategy.
Should the show cast a brand-new man and pair him up with Sharon?
It’d be nice to see Sharon in a new romance, especially one without an interloper like Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) waiting in the wings.
It was always obvious that Chance and Summer were going to become a couple, so most fans couldn’t get invested in Sharon dating Chance.
Now that Sharon has cut Chance loose, the door’s wide open for her to meet a new guy and fall hard for him.
