The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) recently gave Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) support as he wrestled with doubts about fatherhood. Adam is feeling like a terrible dad now that Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) doctors have pointed to his parents as a trigger for his OCD.

In fact, Adam acted like Connor would be better off without him and suggested maybe he wasn’t cut out to be a father at all.

However, Sally assured Adam that he was indeed meant to be a dad and that everyone knew how much he loved Connor.

Since Adam’s current storyline revolves around his fears that he’s messed up his son, all this could be paving the way for more baby drama.

Adam is feeling like it would’ve been better if he’d never been a father, so it makes sense for Y&R to give him the one thing he fears most.

There’s nothing that would scare Adam more than Sally’s pregnancy or at least a close call.

Of course, we should acknowledge that Sally has already had an unplanned pregnancy story before, but that doesn’t mean she can’t have another one.

Everyone knows that soap women are remarkably fertile and that birth control can easily fail when the plot calls for it.

What happens if Sally realizes she’s late? Could Sally get a pregnancy test behind Adam’s back or would it better for her to be more forthcoming considering their history?

Adam and Sally have already been through the loss of little Ava Spectra together, so Sally might want to be honest about any potential pregnancy scare that might be coming up next.

If that’s the case, Adam could spin out at the thought of causing issues for another child in the Newman bloodline.

On the other hand, Sally might decide against stressing Adam out unnecessarily.

Perhaps Sally could get a pregnancy test and confirm whether it’s positive or negative before giving Adam updates on the news.

Even if it’s just a false alarm, Sally’s pregnancy scare would fit with Daddy Adam’s terror right now and would be a good place for this story to go.

It could force Adam and Sally to have a tough conversation about future children and whether they’re on the same page about what they want.
