The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) may be reluctant to leave Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) side once he finally comes home. Summer has been a nervous wreck ever since Harrison got snatched, so she probably won’t want to let him out of her sight!

Poor Harrison has been traumatized by Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and could face some issues in the aftermath of this ordeal.

It’s easy to imagine Harrison having nightmares and grappling with some fears of abandonment based on Jordan’s lies.

Jordan has been telling Harrison that his mom and dad don’t want him anymore, so that’s the kind of thing that could really mess a kid up.

Harrison is going to need plenty of reassurance from Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) as he tries to heal following all the turmoil.

If Harrison asks Summer to stay, it’ll be tough for her to say no.

Summer might end up moving back in the Abbott mansion and staying in one of the guest rooms while she works with Kyle to help Harrison cope.

If Kyle and Summer become housemates, that could complicate their co-parenting relationship.

At the moment, Summer is livid with Kyle since she feels like his choices regarding Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) caused this kidnapping chaos.

However, Summer is mostly just terrified for Harrison’s safety and lashing out as a way to feel useful somehow.

It’s easier to blow up at Kyle than focus on her fears, so Summer’s anger toward her ex-husband may be more of a distraction than anything.

Things could be different after Harrison returns home and tries to settle back into a positive routine.

Summer and Kyle will no doubt agree that Harrison comes first, so that could mean Summer will move back in temporarily and help give him a sense of stability again.

After Summer cools off and plays house with Kyle, could it lead to any old feelings bubbling up between them?

Summer might find herself feeling like a truly reunited family with Kyle and Harrison, so it could make her question they can still make this work.

Of course, there’s still the matter of Summer’s romance with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Kyle’s budding feelings for Claire to consider.

Summer might worry about Kyle giving Claire a pass since she wasn’t the actual kidnapper.

The idea of Kyle growing closer to Claire and trying to make her Harrison’s new stepmom one day could drive Summer crazy!

Could that be enough to make Summer cozy up to Kyle and try to convince him that they still have a future together – for Harrison’s sake if nothing else?
