The Young and the Restless Update Monday, April 22: Victoria Calls Out Boozy Nikki, Summer Defends Victor’s Shady Plan

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, April 22, reveals that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will push for Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) phone number so she can set up a meeting with Jordan (Colleen Zenk), but Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have a condition before she’ll agree.

After Nikki secretly takes a swig from her flask while Victoria’s on the phone, Victoria will insist on helping her along with Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) and perhaps Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Nikki will shut down the notion of including Nick since she won’t trust him not to spill her plan to Victor.

Cole will arrive at the tack house and learn what Nikki intends to do, so he’ll try to convince her that this isn’t the way to deal with Jordan.

However, Nikki will finally snap that they’re wasting time and will go on a tirade that concerns Victoria, who’ll notice her mom is almost shaking.

Victoria will call Nikki out for being agitated and will demand to know if she’s drinking again, so Nikki will seem offended.

Once Nikki calms herself and understands that Victoria is just worried, she’ll look guilty as she promises she hasn’t had more booze.

At the Newman ranch, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will have some updates after talking to some people at the GCPD, so he’ll talk about the delivery driver getting questioned.

The driver claimed that his truck was stolen while he was at a convenience store buying coffee – and the surveillance footage showed someone dressed in all black and a hat stealing the vehicle.

Victor won’t be satisfied and will want to question the delivery driver himself, but Chance will bicker with him about letting the authorities do their job.

Once Victor makes it clear that he didn’t ask for Chance’s advice, he’ll move forward with doing things his way.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will bring Dave (Andre Hotchko) the delivery driver to the Newman ranch, where Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will remind him of who Victor is and what he’s capable of.

Dave will try to play dumb, but Kyle will think it’s obvious that the guy took Jordan’s bribe to leave his truck unattended.

Victor will offer $100,000 for inside information and will push Dave to rectify his blunder since Harrison’s life is in jeopardy.

Meanwhile, Chance will rant to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) about Victor always thinking he’s above the law, but Summer will understand her grandfather’s determination to find Harrison by any means necessary.

At Society, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will sit down at Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) table, so they’ll have a pleasant conversation about their children and what’s going on with them lately.

Once talk turns to work, Lily will admit she doesn’t trust Billy at Chancellor-Winters – and she won’t think they’d be able to agree on anything if they tried to run it together.

Plus, Lily won’t want to betray her family and put herself in a position where Billy might shove her down in his own power pursuit.

Billy will promise that he wouldn’t do that, but he won’t think Lily’s family is as supportive as she seems to believe.

At one point, Lily will also announce that she’s going to push the board to curb Billy’s power and remove him from being an officer at Chancellor-Winters.

Once Lily arrives at the office, she’ll learn Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) wants to reward Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) for the good work he’s been doing and reappoint him to the board.

Since this will be the first time Lily’s hearing about it, she’ll feel like it would’ve been nice to have a warning.

Billy will make some comments to remind Lily of their earlier conversation and seem like he’s trying to make her distrust her family.

Although Devon and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will support Nate’s board return, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) won’t approve as she speaks on a video call.

Billy will vote no as well, so all eyes will be on Lily since she’ll have to break the tie.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say bad news could be looming for Nate if Lily sides against him, so we’ll bring you more predictions on the future of Chancellor-Winters.
