The Young and the Restless May Sweeps Preview: Jordan Aftermath, Messy Feuds, New Romance and Ashley’s Reunion

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that May sweeps is on the way, so we’ve got a preview of what’s in store on the CBS soap. There’ll be several struggling Y&R characters, so let’s dive in and discuss what’ll be happening in the month ahead.

For starters, it looks like the latest Jordan (Colleen Zenk) saga will come to an end, so that should bring some relief as well as some fallout.

Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) may have to deal with some trauma following their ordeal, so they’ll need support from their family members in Genoa City.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will keep trying to be the best parents possible for Claire, so that could bring them closer.

Will Cole and Victoria hit the sheets during May sweeps?

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will also want to be there for Harrison in the aftermath of his kidnapping nightmare.

Could that help Summer and Kyle reconnect as they put Harrison first?

That’s one possibility to consider, but Summer may ultimately lash out all over again if Kyle shows too much sympathy for Claire as Jordan’s victim.

All signs point to Kyle and Claire having a romance in the works, so Summer may just have to get used to the idea of Claire being around!

Over with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she’ll plan to stand strong against Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) lawsuit, but will the loophole Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) intends to exploit be a problem?

Lily is convinced Chancellor-Winters can win the legal feud that’s brewing, but she may be a bit too confident!

Even if Chancellor-Winters does emerge victorious, both Lily and the company could take some serious hits in the court of public opinion.

Although Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will try to stay ahead of the game when it comes to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Billy could have a few tricks up his sleeve.

Devon may work to keep Lily in his corner, but Billy will be working just as hard to convince Lily that he’s the one she should trust and team up with.

Of course, we should also talk about Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) sobriety and whether she might have a better chance at maintaining it with Jordan out of the picture.

Nikki may get serious about putting down the booze bottle, but Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) isn’t going to like it if Nikki has to lean on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) even more often.

Next, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will get treatment for dissociative identity disorder, so look for Christopher Cousins to be part of that storyline as Alan Laurent, Ashley’s psychiatrist friend from Paris, reunites with her.

Y&R fans can expect some tough moments for Ashley as she tries to deal with her alters once and for all, so stay tuned for more predictions on all the drama.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say May sweeps will bring some curveballs, so stick with us for updates on all the exciting news ahead.
