The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the show has an opportunity for a great mystery if they’re willing to take advantage of it. Since Jordan (Colleen Zenk) has such a long list of enemies, it’d be a shame to waste this chance at a whodunit.

Thanks to a major revelation in Y&R’s April 25 episode, we know Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is holding Jordan captive in his dungeon while letting everyone else believe his phony story about her plummeting off a bridge to her demise.

Of course, Victor has a tricky situation on his hands since it doesn’t seem reasonable for him to leave Jordan locked up in that cellar forever.

It also seems risky to send Jordan back to prison since the guards have proven so inept.

Although Victor will push Jordan to reveal Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) location, there’s no guarantee Jordan will give him that information.

Besides, Claire’s phone call to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may provide another path to saving her and leave Jordan all out of bargaining chips.

At that point, what will Victor do with his despised hostage?

While Victor is deciding, it’d be interesting if someone mysterious found out Jordan was down there and approached her while armed.

It’s easy to imagine a gloved hand holding a weapon while inching closer to the bars that Jordan is trapped behind.

Someone off-screen might fire at Jordan – leaving fans to wonder who caused her grim fate.

Victor could return later and find a corpse instead of the living captive he left there.

It could open the door to a whodunit with a lengthy list of suspects, especially after Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) latest ordeal.

Could Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) snap and take care of Jordan once and for all?

Could it be Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) who decides to take Jordan out instead of letting her live like last time?

Of course, there could be other options like Victoria once she finally gets Claire back or Claire herself after she’s back home.

This whole thing could push Victoria or Claire to their breaking point.

There might even be wildcard suspects like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) or anyone else with good reasons to want Jordan gone permanently.

Regardless, it’d be simple for someone to follow Victor and learn where Jordan actually is.

That could set the stage for a mystery surrounding Jordan’s grisly outcome and leave everyone curious about who finally wiped her off the planet.
