The Young and the Restless Tuesday, May 7 Recap: Jordan Panics Over Spider Infestation, Surrenders to Booze

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 7, reveals that “Ms. Abbott” aka Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) alter will show up for meeting with Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) at the athletic club, where she’ll be all business and no pleasure.

“Ms. Abbott” will blame last night’s flirtatious behavior on the Champagne and contend that she’s done playing games.

After “Ms. Abbott” insists she doesn’t approve of Alan psychoanalyzing her for her family, he’ll admit he doesn’t think she’s fine like she claims.

“Ms. Abbott” will act like the other Abbotts influenced Alan’s view of her and will see no reason for him to stay, so she’ll urge him to leave for his conference in Vienna.

At Crimson Lights, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will bump into Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and vow to have his back after what he did for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

Jack won’t have high hopes for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) letting go of his grudge anytime soon, but he’ll acknowledge that he knows how to handle Victor’s wrath.

At the tack house, Victor will check on Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and find that she’s spending some time with Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).

Although Claire will admit to having a nightmare involving Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and that storage unit, she’ll be committed to moving on with her life.

There’ll be some talk about Jordan’s body since Victor will claim it’s probably washed out to Lake Michigan by now.

Claire will eventually join Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at the coffeehouse, where they’ll both cross paths with Nick and Jack.

The topic of Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) needing a new nanny will come up, so Victoria will think Claire should throw her hat in the ring.

Claire will hint about Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) disapproval before Nick admits she’s struggled with the family addition, especially since the kidnapping made things complicated.

Jack will suggest he could talk to Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) on Claire’s behalf, so Victoria will seem excited over Claire potentially getting the job.

Once Jack takes Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) a cup of coffee and finds that she’s still mad about what happened in Nikki’s suite, he’ll wonder what he can do to lessen her anger.

“Ms. Abbott” interrupt with the news that she told Alan to leave, so Jack will dish out some tough love and insist Ashley isn’t well.

Jack will add that this family is going to do everything they can to get Ashley the help she needs.

Back with Victor on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, he’ll seek updates on Cole’s relationship with Victoria and whether something’s changed.

Cole will admit that he’s gotten closer to Victoria and that they’ve reconnected.

Although Victor disapproved of Cole’s relationship with Victoria in the past, he’ll seem more open to it now since Cole has proven so protective.

When Cole asks about Jordan’s fate and whether there’s more to the story, Victor will insist everyone knows all there is to know.

Cole will think it seems like Victor is dodging, but Victor will act like he’d have a security detail on every family member if Jordan wasn’t deceased.

In Jordan’s cell, she’ll assume that Victor probably has cameras and a listening device down in that dungeon, so she’ll start posing and putting on a little show.

Jordan will mull over the vodka that Victor left for her and call out for anyone to come join her for a drink.

It’ll be obvious that Jordan is spinning out all alone in captivity.

After Jordan thinks she feels spiders biting her, she’ll cower on her cot and repeatedly mutter “no spiders.”

Jordan will end up guzzling the booze and shouting for these seemingly imaginary spiders to get off her, so she’ll really be losing it in there!

At Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) place, he’ll lean on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) support. After lovemaking, Adam and Sally will wind up canoodling on the sofa.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also give Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) a pep talk since she’ll be nervous about the weekend visit that Connor’s doctors think he may be ready for.

Later, Chelsea and Billy will stop by Adam’s place, so he’ll button his shirt up and push Sally to stay.

Once Chelsea brings up the weekend visit, Adam will be on the same page about going together and doing whatever is best for Connor.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea and Adam will keep working as a team, so we’ll bring you more predictions on what’s ahead in Connor’s storyline.
