The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 7, reveals that there’ll be a major feud going on inside Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) mind. Although “Ms. Abbott” recently broke free and regained control, that doesn’t mean “Belle” will just surrender.

“Belle” will fight back and try to put herself in charge again, so that could bring a situation where Ashley is swinging back and forth between the two personalities.

If it happens in front of Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins), he could be quite alarmed.

Of course, it’s possible “Ash” will come back out to play as well since Ashley’s mental state will continue to crumble.

Ashley will get worse before she gets better, but that should help Alan make a proper assessment of her condition.

Other Y&R spoilers say Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be in the same boat as they anxiously await a call from Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) facility.

That may involve another video chat with Connor’s doctor since Adam and Chelsea are set to get a progress report.

No matter what Chelsea and Adam learn, they’ll keep supporting each other as they work to put Connor’s needs first.

At the Newman ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will hide his trail when it comes to Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and the cell she’s stuck in.

There may be a situation where Victor almost gets busted since Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will come sniffing around.

If Cole spies Victor emerging from the cellar, Victor might make up an excuse for why he was down there.

Victor wants to keep the news of Jordan’s survival under wraps, so he’ll deceive Cole and give him a pop quiz as a distraction.

Since it’s obvious that Cole and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) have been growing closer lately, Victor will interrogate Cole about the nature of their relationship.

Cole will have to navigate a tricky conversation with Victoria’s protective father, but he may assure Victor that he only wants the best for Victoria and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).

Although Victor may toss a few warnings around, he might also acknowledge that it’d be nice if Cole, Victoria and Claire could all be a happy family.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor may make some predictions about the better days ahead, but Jordan could force him to make some updates to his plans eventually.
