The Young and The Restless To Make Way For The New Generation To Waltz In
We have said it before, and we will say it again, The Young and The Restless fanbase has had one massive painpoint with the CBs giant for years. Now, it might be time for the soap to finally address it. Especially, with an all new soap “The Gates” gearing up to hit Daytime CBS. Y&R needs to come in all guns blazing to retain it’s top spot!
What better way to do it than give their viewers what they crave. And currently, a large section of The Young and The Restless fandom is craving for some young blood to be pumped up into the narrative. Thus, the makers should now consider SORAS – ing some of the kids on the show!
They could ease into the process by first bringing Allie and Noah back into the scene! Fans are already familiar with the characters and were even invested in their story, before it abruptly ended and they were written off the canvas! Next, it would be a great idea to bring Moses and Faith back. But they don’t necessarily have to be together!
In fact, it could be great for the story for The Young and The Restless to break them up and have Moses flirt with anything young and female that walks and breaths! Oh the drama that his Casanova persona could bring! Then there is the matter of them making good on the promise they forgot!
Many would remember the love triangle Y&R had teased with both – Johnny and Connor liking Lucy. Interestingly, Connor is already part of the current narrative with his ongoing OCD issues. So, he could easily return to Genoa City for treatment, and for support from his parents – Adam and Chelsea. A handsome angsty youngster would be a great addition!
Even after the aforementioned, The Young and The Restless has no dearth of more kids that could use a good SORAS! For example: Reed and his new half sister, Claire. With that large a pool of young blood, it will take the makers years to integrate them all in viable storylines.
