Brooke hasn’t been doing much of anything lately except kissing Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) at the office and complaining about Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) relationship with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

Of course, we get that things tend to cycle back around on B&B.

The show switches it up periodically and gives different characters a chance to shine, so it’s probably just a matter of being patient.

However, fans have started to complain on social media since Brooke feels pretty useless these days.

Brooke’s scenes tend to be repetitive and pointless, so she could definitely use a new storyline in the near future.

Ridge’s bride-to-be has been stuck with no direction for far too long, so what kind of story should Brooke get next?

One option might involve a new line at Forrester Creations or something that gets Brooke back to her chemist roots.

As another possibility, there have been a lot of reminders lately about Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and how she previously targeted Brooke.

If Sheila is still alive like many of us suspect, then she could become a problem for Brooke once again.

Naturally, romantic drama is always an option as well. Brooke and Ridge still haven’t made it to the altar, so there’s still time for a romantic interloper to ruin their wedding plans.

Considering how many times Ridge and Brooke have split over the years, no one can rule out the idea of things blowing up between them once again.

Brooke and Ridge could at least face some obstacles on their way to tying the knot.

Whatever the case, it’d be nice for Brooke to get more of a storyline at some point, so let’s hope B&B writers have some updates in mind for her character.
