Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will defend Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) to EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel). But it seems like the DA’s only desperate for a win, because EJ can’t get past Xander’s past as a hit man and kidnapper!

EJ only sees what was, not what is, in regards to Xander who he knows was a hit man in the past and a thief-not to mention kidnapping.
He kidnapped Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) EJ’s mother and kept her in a garden shed, terrifying her dressed as a clown and that’s what led to her presumed death.
Sarah remembers all that and agrees it was egregious-but Xander’s a different man now, and father to their daughter Victoria Horton (uncast infant)-being a father has changed him.
Victoria divorced Xander after that kidnapping incident so she knows exactly what that was about. It took a long time to forgive him, but now she can see the change and trusts him implicitly.
DOOL Spoilers – Justin Kiriakis Stands Behind Xander Cook
Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) stands behind Xander, and even Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) believes he was framed, but EJ seems to be out for a win only and won’t listen!
Sarah isn’t getting anywhere with influencing EJ to be fair and act with no prejudice-EJ’s turning into another Melinda Trask (Tina Huang)!
Justin and Xander remember well how Trask would do anything, including bribing judges to get a win-didn’t matter if the defendant was innocent or guilty.
All it mattered was that Trask won the case-many innocent lives were ruined during her years-long reign of terror in the courthouse, and now EJ is acting just like her.
Xander’s very close to telling what he knows about EJ’s past with Clyde Weston (James Read) but he has to wait until Mayor Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) is well.

As for Sarah, she keeps believing in Xander and EJ should know Xander’s winning Rafe and Justin’s confidence isn’t easy. Someone with access to the crime scene and Sarah and Xander’s apartment had to have planted the gun.
Unfortunately, the evidence has been speaking for itself even though Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) has woken up and has been talking, but he’d lost so much blood his memory’s not clear.
Harris is in no shape to be able to solve the crime of his own shooting, other than to clear Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) of culpability.
Whoever sent him that text to lure him to the scene of the crime had to have had access to Ava’s phone unless they spoofed her number.
