Days of Our Lives Recap: Tuesday, March 5 – Stefan Signs EJ’s Escape Deal – John’s Plan Involves Ava’s Mob Family

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 5, reveals that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) started going a little “buggy” while locked up in the tank, so Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) took the lead on coming up with more imaginary adventures to distract him.

Later, Wendy and Tripp heard a noise outside, so they started calling for help. Tripp and Wendy eventually realized Officer Goldman (Christy St. John) had closed the vents, so Wendy panicked over running out of air as Tripp worked to calm her down.

At home on Tuesday’s Days episode, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) convinced Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to help her break Clyde Weston (James Read) out of prison since Tripp and Wendy’s lives were at stake.

John hinted about a way to make Clyde disappear into thin air, but he said they’d need some equipment and assistance from Ava’s family members. Ava assured John that she’d make sure they were at the ready.

At the DiMera mansion on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) downed some liquid courage and told EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) that he fired at Harris Michaels (Steve Burton), which was even more of a problem since Clyde wasn’t happy he didn’t finish the job.

EJ threatened to call the police, but Stefan begged for help since his life was on the line.

Although EJ resisted at first, Stefan argued that Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) want him to preserve his family.

EJ finally agreed to have Stefan transported to a safe location and arrange for his passage out of the country – hopefully somewhere with no extradition.

In exchange, Stefan would have to sign over all his DiMera shares, land holdings and offshore assets.

Stefan complained since that would make him destitute, but EJ pointed out that at least Stefan would be alive. In the end, Stefan surrendered and signed the paperwork to secure his deal with EJ.

Next on Tuesday’s Days episode, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) assured Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) that they weren’t followed as they showed up at Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) new safehouse, which was actually a monastery.

Lucas was living there as a monk, which he wasn’t thrilled about since he had no entertainment and was lonely.

However, Kate gave Lucas some snacks, books and a pep talk that lifted his spirits.

As Lucas played cards with Kate and Roman on Tuesday’s Days episode, he received news about Harris waking up and sought updates on the Clyde investigation.

Lucas worried he’d never be free, but Kate and Roman pushed him to have faith since his family would be waiting with love and affection.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Clyde’s takedown can’t happen soon enough, so stay tuned for all the drama leading up to it.
