Days of Our Lives: Thursday, March 7 – Eric Suspects Holly’s Lie – Clyde Double-Crossed – Tate’s Message Fails

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 7, reveals that Sloan Petersen-Brady (Natasha Hall) reluctantly left Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to babysit Jude Brady since she had a new client to meet with.

While Leo was alone with the baby, he told Jude the story of his birth and admitted he didn’t know how the story would end – though it wasn’t looking good.

However, Leo promised to protect Jude and was pleased to get a smile out of him.

At the DiMera mansion on Thursday’s Days episode, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) had a catch-up session with Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) before reuniting with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) in her room.

Holly hugged Eric and sat down to talk with him while Nicole made a phone call.

That led to Holly fiddling with her hair while acting like someone might’ve slipped something in her drink at the New Year’s Eve party.

Eric recalled how Holly always played with her hair when she was nervous and thought she might get in trouble as a little girl.

Although Eric wondered what Holly wasn’t telling him, she stuck to her story about not being able to remember much of anything.

When Nicole returned on Thursday’s Days episode, she confirmed that she’d be at Jude’s christening along with Holly.

Eric said it was happening at St. Luke’s and that there’d be a reception at the pub afterward.

Nicole suggesteed having the reception at the DiMera mansion instead, but Eric didn’t want to impose and wasn’t sure Sloan would go for the idea.

However, Nicole rattled off a list of reasons why Eric should agree and got him to relent.

Once Eric took off, Nicole and Holly had some mother-daughter bonding time as they planned the bash.

Holly didn’t want to talk about New Year’s Eve anymore, so Nicole was fine with focusing on the future.

At Tate Black’s (Jamie Martin Mann) halfway house on Thursday’s DOOL show, Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) put Sloan on the case since Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) had his hands full defending Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).

Sloan met with Tate and Theresa, which led to her suggesting a plea deal since Tate could avoid a lengthy trial and be guaranteed a light sentence.

In fact, Tate might even get out with time served and be home soon enough.

Tate immediately shut down the idea since he didn’t want to plead guilty to something he didn’t do. Theresa thought it was a good option since Holly might never back up Tate’s side of the story.

For now, Sloan told Theresa that she’d file a complaint and try to get EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) removed from the case on grounds of bias and non-objectivity.

It was a longshot, but Sloan felt they should at least try.

In a moment alone, Tate swiped Theresa’s phone off the table and kept it after she left.

Although Tate didn’t have Holly’s phone number, he decided to reach out to her on social media.

Tate seemed eager to make sure Holly knew about his arrest, jail time, beating and halfway house saga, but that idea didn’t work out.

Holly was baffled over Theresa seemingly sliding in her DMs and said she had no time for her since she had a party to plan.

When Eric returned home, he was surprised to find Leo on babysitting duty, but he quickly realized it had been going well.

Sloan also came home and got updates on Nicole offering to host the christening reception at the DiMera mansion.

Although Sloan looked less than thrilled, Leo seemed delighted over another way of making Sloan squirm.

Next on Thursday’s Days episode, Ava got off the phone and confirmed that they could use her family’s connections at Statesville to make the escape happen.

It meant Ava would owe them a favor, but she felt confident she could handle any future demands.

John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) went over prison blueprints as they tried to find the best way to break Clyde Weston (James Read) out of Statesville.

Ava also went over the list of supplies they had for their mission.

The goal was to get an unmarked car to make Clyde think he was headed to the airstrip, but Steve and John eventually admitted to Ava that they planned to double-cross Clyde and lock him up for an interrogation.

Ava flipped out since she feared it could cost Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) his life, but Steve feared it would be far riskier to just let Clyde go.

Ava finally agreed to let them do this their way, so John and Steve headed out to make final preparations.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say there’ll be some shocking moments as this prison break plot plays out, so don’t miss all the chaotic news that’s brewing.
